Chapter 4
Valeria's P.O.V.
"You've been up here for hours. What are you doing?"
I pulled the picture under my pillow, and looked up at Aidan before getting up off my bed.
"Nothing I was just going to start organizing all of my stuff," I spoke as I walked over to where my suitcases still were.
"Okay, hurry up though we have to go see Alpha Ralph later?"
"Fine, I'll go in a while."
"Okay."
After Aidan was gone I threw the clothes that I had in my hands on my bed, and grabbed the photo from behind my pillow to place it in my drawer where it would be kept safe.
Then I walked over to my suitcase fixing, and organizing everything in my room before finally going downstairs, dressed, and ready to go see this alpha.
"AIDAN WHERE ARE YOU?" I shouted.
"KITCHEN."
I walked over to where the kitchen was seeing Aidan looking through the refrigerator before closing it, and settling for an apple.
"Are you ready?" he asked.
"Yes I am."
"Let's go then we don't want to be late. I'm sure that just like Alpha Nolan; Alpha Ralph is a busy person."
"Aren't all alphas?"
"Yes they are. they're probably lucky if they get a few days off."
"I feel bad for their mates," I said as we walked out to the car.
"Why should you they are mated to an alpha of all people, and are the head person in charge right after him."
"I just think that it is to much responsibility for two people to lead a pack, I would not like to have an alpha as a mate."
"Don't say that because then the opposite thing of what you want will happen," Aidan said in a sing song voice.
"I doubt it."
"Hm-mm."
He drove over to the pack house; where we were lead into the alpha's office to wait for him by the beta.
"How long do you think it is going to take for him to get here?' I asked Aidan.
It had been at least thirty minutes since we were brought into his office, and he had yet to make an appearance.
"I told you that alpha's are busy."
"I didn't think that he would so busy that he couldn't even attend to us," I said.
"We'll wait a while longer, and if he dosen't show up we will leave," Aidan spoke.
"Fine."
We sat there for another five minutes before a man walked into the office, and took a seat at the desk.
"Good morning I'm Alpha Ralph," he spoke very casually.
"I'm Aidan, and this is Valeria, we were looking to join your pack," Aidan said getting straight to the point..
"Why do you wish to join the Night Pack."
"Well this is the only pack in Maine, and we want to live here as part of a pack, so here we are," Aidan said giving him a false answer.
I suppose that we shouldn't tell him about looking for my birth parents then. If Aidan lied it must have been for a reason.
"Where do you come from?" he asked.
