Chapter 8

Valeria's P.O.V.

My phone's annoying customized ring-tone that I had set especially for Aidan woke me up from my sleep.

I opened my eyes, and took the phone from Issac who was a second away from hanging up on him.

"I got it," I said pulling it out of his hands.

"Hello."

"Val, what time are we going to get there?"

"You called me to ask me that? You couldn't have asked Chris, he probably knows," I said referring to the the pack member that Issac has sent with Aidan.

"He's sleeping."

"I'll ask Issac then," I said.

"What time are we going to get to your pack?" I asked him.

"At around one in the afternoon," he answered sitting up straighter.

"Did you hear that?" I asked Aidan.

"Yeah."

"Okay then bye I'm going back to sleep," I said as I went to hang up the phone.

"Val, don't hang up I need someone to keep me entertained."

"I'm tired," I wined.

"Val," he wined back.

"Alright fine what do you want to talk about," I said as I pulled the blanket that had been placed on my lap more up to cover my whole body.

"You remember when you were sixteen, and you got your first boyfriend?" he asked.

"Yeah what about it," I said just as a low growl came from Isaac who's fist, and jaw were tightly clenched.

"You remembered when you first started dating him, and you were spending all of your free time with him."

"Yeah, but why are you talking about this right now?."

"You'll see anyway you remember how you forgot about me."

"Aidan we still spent time together when I was with Ryan," I said.

Ryan was my first boyfriend that I had met through Aidan when I had accompanied him to the Deacon pack territory to speak with the alpha. He was the alpha's son at the time, and was now probably the new alpha of the pack.

He wasn't like all the other boys his age he understood me, and we got along perfectly which is one of the reason that we first started dating. Everyone in his pack including his parents thought that we were going to be mates, but it didn't happen, and a while after that I broke up with him; just three month before I turned eighteen.

Ryan was the first love of my life, but now he was in the past.

"But not as much as we did before you started dating him."

"Where are you going with this?" I asked him.

Why was he bringing all of this up now?

Aidan had never talked to me about this before, why now of all times?

"I just don't want the same thing to happen, now that you found your mate," he replied in a more serious voice.

"It won't I promise," I said.

"Good."

"Was that all you wanted to say?' I asked after we had both been silent for a few minutes.

"There is another thing," he said.

"What."

"Never mind, I'll tell you another time," he said.
