Kanika's POV

Our house in the woods was so pretty. It was white and had those windows that looked slightly blue. A lot of the things in it were white. Simple, but cute.

My room was a creamy color with some pale purple, blue and orange. It reminded me of home. I went to my balcony and looked around the place.

It was a woodsy scene with birds chirping and stuff like that. I liked it already.

A smell lingered through the air, and I was already captivated. It was a faint scent of cherry wine.

I walked back inside, the white box Selene had given me sat on top of my bed, reminding me to deliver it.

I picked it up, looking at the note Selene had stuck to it. It held the directions. I walked out my room and went down the halls. I knocked on Mkhail's door.

"What?" He said, opening the door. Mkhail seemed relaxed, which was surprising because most of the time he was slightly tense.
"Can you accompany me as I deliver this?"
"Sure, maybe there's even some entertainment there."
"You're nasty."

Mkhail's 'entertainment' were girls. Girls, girls and more girls. And I think boys too, but not much. Lions usually have tons of sex. And that picked up on Mkhail, I'm surprised he's never picked up AIDS, or any other sexually transmitted disease. Or even pregnated someone in all his 1,500 years of life. Mkhail was too smart. Well, except for those dumb flings. At least he protects himself.

Sometimes I wondered how he protected himself when condoms didn't even exist.
Ahh, the playboy.

Of course, I've had my flings too, but not really much. I mean, what else could I also do in all my 2,000 years. I wasn't into those things. If I was into dating, I'd crave for more than sweat and a sore body.

Mkhail smirked and walked past me, grabbing the box to look at the map. He was also pretty smart.
"It's not too far away. We'll walk, our scents will bring animals to us." He mumbled.
"Okay." I replied, snatching it away.

I started to walk outside with Mkhail, Aisha was pretending to be a maid so she stayed home. It was sucky because she'd wear kitty ears and a tail plus a maid outfit. She demanded for her to be called "Maid-Sama" and if you didn't, she'd wack you on the head with her feather duster. The only good thing about this was the fact she'd clean and cook.

"Ra dammit!! How much til we're there?!?!" Mkhail yelled, startling some birds. I passed him the map with a loud sigh.

A heavenly smell pooled into my nostrils ans I couldn't help but sigh happily. I recognized it as cherry wine, my mother had tons of candles and I'd taken the time to memorize them. I noticed the scent was most likely coming from where we were heading to.

Ace's POV

The day had been akward. I had taken a liking to Ash's company so we'd spend time together. It was akward, really. Ash would rarely talk and just nod while I talked my ass off. But it wasn't that he didn't seem uninterested, Ash would look at me in the eye to let me know he listened.

Robyn had spent the rest of the day pestering me hugs, apology letters and treats. Which I had all gladly refused.

Ash and I sat at the picnic tables, munching down on scooby snacks, which we both loved.
"Where's your mate?" He asked, looking up.
"You just love asking questions." I mocked
"Sorry Ace."
"I'm kidding. My mate hasn't come yet, but she will soon. My luna. My minx. My love."

I smiled like a lovestruck girl, making Ash laugh like an idiot.
"Gushy Ace, is weird Ace."
I chuckled and playfully punched his arm.
"I'm glad I'm your friend, otherwise that punch wouldn't be so gentle." He said, sighing.

"I'm not like that. I'm Alpha, but it's not like I can go around abusing of my power. Everyone here deserves to live peacefully." I said.
"Thank you, Ace. I-I'm still shocked I'm your friend, I mean, not even the other omegas would talk to me!"

I smiled and nodded, then quickly looking towards the front gates as a guard mindlinked me. Woah. I grinned like a madman as the smell of lavender hit me. It was my mate. My mate is here. Oh my god. My mate. Mine.

"Alpha Ace. There's someone here." The guard repeated. I quickly got up, and almost ran to the gate. Ash came behind me, like my tail.

I gaped at the sight before my eyes. She was so beautiful. My mate had black hair, with tan skin that looked soft and oh my god. She looked so good. Her brown eyes, Pink lips, literally everything about her was so perfect.

She just stood there staring at me. Tranced.

The mate bond was powerful. Fuck what I said. God, I wanted to kiss her so bad.

Tucker was howling like crazy, he was so happy. I was too. I'd found my Luna.

But she was with a man. A handsome man.

"Who's this?" I said with a smirk.
"I'm Kanika." She replied, staring again.
"Kanika what?"
"Just Kanika."

I understood. My parents had left me as a child and I grew up alone, so I didn't really have a lastname. I'd just like Collins, so Ace Collins it was.

"Who's the man?" I gritted my teeth.
"Mkhail, my cousin."

Even her voice was lovely.
"Come in." I said, smiling. The guard let her and Mkhail pass, them following me like Ash would.

I ordered Ash to stay outside with Mkhail, not because Ash would hold Mkhail down if the man started to fight, which Ash obviously couldn't do as Mkhail was almost as big as me, but because I wanted Kanika all for myself.

Kanika and I walked into my office and she sat down almost as if she owned the place. I couldn't help but smirk. She extended her arm, holding a little white box. I grabbed it, our fingers touching for a second our two, and even being so short, I loved it. She smiled for only a moment, then pulled back with confusion in her eyes. Kanika, ahem, my mate looked at me up and down.

Kanika looked at me with a surprised look, her eyes widened and mouth slightly agape.

"You're the man from my dream."
