"In books unread, we lie between their pages. As they turn us to lovers, like season's changes,"
- Lang Leav.°°°
"Have you keep in touch with Rosie recently?" Peter asked me while chewing his pizza. I nodded my head yes. Luke was sitting beside me-chewing his pizza too. Since nobody at home except Peter, Luke and I so three of us decided to have pizza for dinner.
"Where is she now?" Peter continued.
"Seattle," I said.
"Why she doesn't want to come back home?" he asked and I shrugged, "Maybe she needs more time since the fucktard Chris filed a divorce on her. Shit, she has a really tough time," I said.
My tone turned into sad and angry at the same time. I feel sad because our eldest sister has to face it herself. Actually she doesn't want us to worry or involved in her marriage. She always acts tough even I know that she is fragile as hell. I feel angry because her ex-husband a
k.a the fucktard shithead, Chris is being an asshole. He is the one who is having affair with some other blondes and filed a divorce on Rosie and now he disturbs her every day. If I'm on Rosie's place, I'll kick his not sorry ass."You both seriously look like magnet. Can't you both separate?" Peter changed his topic. Luke and I looked at him and we both looked each other and without a second thought, I pushed Luke away until he fell off the couch.
"The fuck, Elle," he cried. Peter laughed when he saw Luke fell off the couch.
"Sorry, bro. Sophie-Anne will always win," Peter said to Luke. He rolled his eyes and get up off the floor. He looked at his watch and turned at Peter.
"Thanks for cleaning up shit this morning, bro," Luke said.
"No problem. Glad that I could help," Peter said, winked.
"Elle I got to go, see you tomorrow," he said and I nodded.
"Let me send you to your car," I offered.
"No, it's okay. Have a great time with Peter, Elle." I can't protest so I just nodded and watched him walked out through the front door. I looked out the window and I saw him started the engine and accelerated out from my house area.
"You look at him in the different way, Sophie-Anne." I turned my head to Peter.
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.
"You know what I mean. You looked sad whenever he leaves you," he said.
"Am not."
"You can't lie especially to Peter Alexander Jean, Sophie-Anne."
I shrugged it off. "In a good way or bad way?" I asked.
"I'm not sure but it is like when he moves, you move; like a strong magnet and now you looked at him like he is everything to you. No offense but please don't make it look obvious because people will accuse you eventually when they know that you like him."
I stared blankly at him. I don't know what to say. But whatever it is I really don't want him to know that I've fall in love with him because absolutely things won't be the same ever again.
"I met Perry yesterday," I confessed and Peter hummed which I convinced as okay, go on.
"She asked me to give Luke some space."
"What was that mean?" He asked incredulously.
"I don't know but she said that Luke has another world and I need to get over him and give him space or more likely to stay away from him," I said.
