Leo POV:

The pagoda stood in a small grove of trees, tucked away and out of sight. The four of us crouched in the bushes to one side of the building.

"Babe alert, 3 o'clock." Mikee pointed to a window, where the figure of a girl stood, looking out.

"We could climb the side. If this truly is shredders doing, then we need to get in and out as fast as possible. Preferably without a fight. Ready?" I looked at my brothers, who each nodded.

"We can't wait here for 'Miss Leader' to come back. We have to leave now."

"And do what Bellona? Athena is still recovering. We can't go anywhere until she is healed enough, or Venus comes back." I peeked in the window at the three girl turtles. Bellona, the angry one, wore a bright red mask around her face. The other, calmer one, wore a pale peach colored mask. She had her arm rested around the third turtle that wore a lavender color. She seemed to have been injured.

"Need I remind you that it isn't her message that has her this way? If we don't act now, we could all end up like that." Bellona sounded much like Raph, sarcastic and angry. The purple one, Athena, looked up at me.

"Enough, both of you. We have visitors at our window." She stood, and from her stance she was in slight pain. "Who are you and why have you come?"

I entered the window, moving past the shadows,my brothers staying further back in the shadows.

"My name is Leonardo. We came to help you, but we have to move quickly."

"Why should we trust you? You're the reason Venus is missing." Bellona looked at me with a glare. The room seemed to fill with electricity as I held up Venus's mask lightly in my palm.

"She's safe. She sent us to get you out of here. You can't deny you were trying to escape. We can get you out, right here, right now."

"How many of you are there?" Athena seemed calm, resting her hand on Bellona's shoulder to settle her. My brothers stepped out to stand beside me.

"These are my brothers. Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo." As I spoke, Mikee slid over beside the peach masked one.

"But you can call me Mikee." He smiled and winked at her. She blushed. Athena looked up to me.

"I am Athena, these are my sisters, Bellona and Iris," She gestured to each, Iris being the name of the peach masked girl. "You are right to assume we need to flee, but how? We have no route of escape but that window."

"You were trained like your sister, correct?" She nodded. "Then we climb." Bellona spoke up.

"No go. Athena isn't strong enough to climb."

"Uh, I... I could help with that?" Donnie stepped forward and offered his hand to Athena. "Uh hi, I'm Donatello. Donnie, Don, whatever." He was blushing. I would have to remember that.

"It's nice to meet you, Dona...Donnie." She smiled a little, blushing too. She turned to her sisters. "With their help we can make it out of here. I trust him. Them." I nodded my respects to her. I had the feeling I would grow to respect her the way I respect Donnie.

"We need to move then." Raph nodded towards the hall, where he had moved to stand by the door. "We got foot soldiers on the move." We both moved to the window. Mikee led Iris to the window, hopped up on the sill and jumped with her. I'd never seen him so quiet. Donnie took a different approach. Since Athena could not climb, Donnie had her on his back with her arms around his neck. Both still blushing, Donnie climbed down the side. Raph and I turned to Bellona. She walked past Raph, stepping up to the sill and turning.

"Need a hand, princess?" Raph spoke in a cocky, confident tone. I almost thought he was flirting. She rolled her eyes.

"Watch and learn, sunshine." She placed her hands on the sill like on gymnastic balance beam, turned and pushed off. Raph and I looked out the window to see her land, crisp and neat against the grass, rolling to alter the force of the landing blow. She stood. Raph grinned a cocky grin.

"I have to admit I'm impressed." He swung out the window and, using his psi, slid down the siding of the pagoda. I climbed out and jumped into a nearby tree. I easily jumped through the branches and landed by Raph and Bellona. Mikee, Iris, Donnie and Athena walked over swiftly. I moved ahead, the others following as I lead them home.

Venus POV:

I heard the arguing before I could reach the door to check for the 200th time. I peeked out just enough to see what the commotion was. Leo and the others were just down the hall. And that is where the noises came from.

"You think you're tough do you? You wouldn't last a day on your own." Bellona's sharp tongue was abrasive, but calming. They were alright.

"I'd love to see how you would do, princess. You've been in a pagoda your whole life, I've been out here in the streets and sewers." Raphael seemed to fight, but with a little less of his sharpness.

"Enough, Raph. We are home now, do you want Sensei on your case?" Leo breathed a soft sigh. I pulled the spare mask Leo had given me until he could return with mine. I pulled it up, removing some of the looseness as I walked into the shadows of the tunnel.

"Leonardo?" He stopped, turning a smile spreading across his face. A shiver went through me as I took the mask from him.I would have to get used to that. After I slid the mask onto my eyes, I was half tackled to the ground.

"Venus!" I wrapped an arm around my youngest sister, Iris. "You're alright!"

"Yeah I'm fine. But there is a lot that I have to explain to you."

Leo POV:

As Venus and her sisters caught up, I turned to my brothers.

"Whatcha thinkin' Leo?" Raph said, speaking low so the girls wouldn't hear.

"That the whole breakout went too easy." I looked at Venus. Her eyes glanced up to me, the same thoughts reflecting in her eyes.  "Way too easy."
