Raph POV:

I followed Casey along the edge of the building, glancing at the Purple Dragon symbol on the wall. I felt Bellona's hand on my shoulder.

"I've got a bad feeling about this. Something more is going on here than Casey knows." I glanced at Leo and Venus, who were on the roof-tops above. Leo signaled me, asking if things were ok. I signaled back, letting him know it was fine, to keep moving. I turned back to Bellona.

"Bella, we've been doin' this for years. Casey and I go way back. He knows to check something out thoroughly before tryin' to get us in on it. Have a little faith in him. And if not in him, then me. Ok?" I watched her eyes, still seeing the deep worry. "Are you sure this isn't about Venus? You worried she's gonna get hurt?" Her hand clenched as she ducked her head. I knew it. "Hey... look at me," I lifted her chin, "Leo and I have your backs. And so does Casey. Everything is gonna be fine." She still seemed uneasy, but she did calm a bit. The two of us met with Casey as the corner of the building.

"You ready for this?" Casey looked back at me. I could feel a smirk playing on my face. I couldn't wait to take down some bad guys.

"I was born ready."

Venus POV:

"She's worried." Leo commented, as we watched the others find their places along the perimeter. "It's got Raph worried too." He smiled as if the notion was amusing.

"It's because of me, you know." I said softly. Leo glanced at me.

"Why would you think that?" He rested his hand over mine as we laid low, watching just above the roof line to the street below. Purple Dragon men were crawling all over the small area around the compound.

"She thinks I'm not healed enough. Not ready to train again yet." I watched, as Leo sat up straighter, getting the 'GO' from Raph.

"We'll finish this discussion later ok?" He smiled. The two of us lept into battle, while Raph, Bellona, and Casey took on outer rim guards. It felt good to be fighting again. Leo and I took a side and fought, trying to stay out of each others way. I watched out the corner of my eye to see Bellona and Raph doing the opposite. They worked their enemies toward each other, throwing them off with a trade off. Casey seemed to disappear into the battle. Suddenly, Raph shouted out to Leo.

"Leo, 3 'oclock!" I turned in that direction, seeing a Purple dragon nearly on top of us. Leo swung at him, but not before his bat came down over Leo's shoulder. I lunged under, lashing out with my katanas as Leo pulled back. I fought on my own for a few moments until they had me surrounded. I could hear Bellona cry out to me. They took turns swinging their fists, each leaving a small mark. Soon they were being ripped away as I kept fighting. Leo was fighting them, slightly injuries not keeping him from fighting. Two guys, much larger than the others came up behind him.

"Leo, behind you!" I shouted to him, knocking the two guys I was fighting aside. He turned and before he could react they began battering him. I struggled past the guys I was fighting, sending them flying as I raced towards Leo. Raph beat me to him, knocking the two guys off of him. He and Casey, who miraculously reappeared, sent them running for the hills. I ran over to Leo.

"Leo! Leo, are you ok?" I looked him over. He winced as he slowly sat up.

"Yeah, I think so-" He started, before grimacing. I caught him and helped him sit up. There was dark purple bruising on his shoulder, which looked dislocated. I turned to look up at Bellona. She reached down and helped me get Leo to his feet. Raph was back by then.

"We need to get him out of here. Shoulder looks dislocated." I said softly. Raph took him from my shoulder.

"There's a manhole cover this way. Casey, did you get what we came for?" He looked over at the human, who held up what looked like an artifact. I hoped it was worth what had happened.

"Venus, come on. We need to get you back to Donnie too. You've torn your stitches." She rested an arm around my shoulder. I glanced down, noticing now the splattered blood on the bandage. Not a serious amount, but it was still more than it should have been. We headed back to the lair, following the boys.

Raph POV:

"How you holding up, Leo?" I said softly. The girls were a slight ways behind us, and I didn't want to worry Venus unnecessarily. He looked over at me.

"It's my fault. I pushed her to get back into it before she was ready."

"I meant your shoulder, Fearless Leader. I know you feel bad about Venus, but now isn't the time." He grimaced as we turned the corner, Casey pausing to make sure the girls caught up.

"Honestly? It hurts like hell. I'm more concerned about the small gash in my leg. Don's gonna have a fit. Especially when he sees her stitches are torn." I rolled my eyes.

"Again, you. Not Venus. You think it's dislocated like she said?" I watched as he nodded. Leo never admitted to pain, but I knew this was different. He'd already been injured on that arm back in the day. It could have reopened old wounds. I tried to pick up our pace.

"Maybe I should have listened to Bella." I muttered to myself. Leo chuckled and I looked up at him. He had a half grin on his face.

"Maybe both of us should have listened to them." He said. I chuckled. This was gonna take some getting used to, bonding over girls.
