Leo POV:

I was wrong. So wrong. In the two days that followed, the guys and I searched through many of the tunnels. We went down, spreading far and wide. Even when the guys went back I kept searching until Raph half dragged me home. We headed out again this morning, three days in. Donnie seemed really concerned about her health. Raph and I pushed on, checking again on some of the higher levels.

Venus POV:

I set my master down gently and nearly fell to my knees beside him. I tried to stay strong for as long as I could. These tunnels became so twisted and confusing. I couldn't even tell how many days had passed. We were both dehydrated and very empty stomachs. I checked his injuries.

"Venus," He said softly.

"Shush, Sensei, it is alright. I will find them soon. I'm sure of it."

"You would find them faster if you did not try to carry me." He spoke weakly. I gave him a stern look.

"And we both know I will not do that. I didn't go back for you just to lose you now." I sat heavily beside him with a soft grunt. Taking stock of my injuries, I knew I could not rest for long. Small bits of wood and glass were imbedded in my arms from the blast. Sensei chuckled weakly beside me.

"You always were stubborn. Almost as stubborn as Bellona." We both chuckled. I sighed, knowing I needed to get up and keep moving, but had so little strength. "Venus... Are your sisters happy? And Safe with those boys?" I closed my eyes.

"Yes, Dante- Sensei. I only wish you and I could see them again. That I could see Leonardo again."

Leo POV:

"We've searched this section before." Raph looked at me, probably thinking I was losing my mind.

"Somethings different, I can feel it. Trust me." I heard a soft whispered murmur that echoed through the halls.

Venus POV:

"Venus?" I heard echo through the halls. My head jerked up from where I had been resting. I tried to pull myself to my feet, gasping at the pain in my foot. I dragged myself over towards the corridor entrance.

"... told you... Leo...look somewhere new." There was a long pause. Another voice said something softly, too soft to make out words, but I could tell was him. Leonardo. I could just see the shadows of two figures. I knew I only had moments.

"Leo..nardo.." I spoke, trying to throw my voice. The two figures began to move and I closed my eyes. I couldn't let them get away. I sucked in a breath. And shouted his name.

Leo POV:

The echos filled the tunnels.

"LEO!" I spun, heading back in the direction we had come. I knew she was close. I could feel it. I had to find her. Now.

Venus POV:

I gasped with pain. I couldn't see clearly. What little energy I had left went into that scream, that hopefully answered pray.

"Venus!" My eyes fluttered open just enough to see the tails of a blue mask and two turtles moving very quickly toward me. I could feel the edged of my lips twitch into a smile. I felt him tug me into his arms. I winced, but then the pain numbed.

"What took you so long?" He laughed, a pure wonderful sound. I opened my eyes and looked up at his worry filled ones. I pointed down the corridor where I had left sensei just a few feet away. "Please help my sensei..." Leo looked over his shoulder at Raph who quickly pulled out a shell cell and began calling for Donnie to come pick us up as he walked over to my sensei.

"Venus, stay awake for me." I opened my eyes and tried to focus on his voice or his eyes.

"I'm glad I got to see you... at least this once more." He pulled me tight to his chest. Why did I feel so numb?

"Venus, you are gonna make it through this. Just stay with me. Stay with me. You promised to come back."

"I'm sorry I got lost." I looked at his eyes. They shined with relief.

"I was worried you were running from someone. Me or Shredder."

"Shredder?" I was full of fear now. Did my sisters make it out ok? Did everyone make it to safety? Was the Shredder not dead?

"There wasn't a body. It's ok though, we are looking for evidence. That explosion could have incinerated him." His words didn't soothe me. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted.

Leo POV:

"Venus? Venus!" I shook her lightly but her eyes wouldn't open. "Raph, tell Don to step on it. I'm losing her." I held her close and spoke softly. "Come back to me, V, come on. Just hold on."
