Nine

Venus POV:

"Father... Leave them out of this. They are safe." I stood, seeing my katanas laying on the stand across the room.

"They have betrayed me in coming prepared for battle. And yet, you are who has disappointed me most." He stepped forward. I held out my arm in front of my sisters.

"No Father. I did not disappoint you. You decided to believe me when I returned to you alone. Did you really think I planned to return forever?" His mask gave no sign of his emotion. I didn't care. "You taught me my whole life to hate them. To fight with against them. And now I know why." I walked over and picked up my katanas. "Because you are afraid of them. You are afraid of us."

"You are weak. Your mind is under their control." He said. I waved my sisters back.

"Go, help them. I will handle him." I turned, readying myself for a fight.

Leo POV:

I took out the robot quickly, jumping back.

"The girls are in trouble! We got to get them out of there!"

Venus POV:

Bellona stood beside me. I could hear the others fighting their way down the hall.

"You fight, I fight with you."

I smiled at her.

"Just like old times." I turned and faced him now, ready to fight.

"Foolish girls. It seems the only way to teach you is to start over." He started at us and I charged. I jumped, taking the high hit while Bellona took the low. We double teamed him as the others entered the room. I continued the fight. I saw Athena explaining to the others and Raph quickly falling into sync with Bellona in her fight. I was shocked to see how well the two worked in unison. I dove in for a slice, but his arm came up and sent me flying.

"Venus!" Athena called out. I threw myself back to my feet and back into the fight. I helped drive him back to the wall, but Raph and Bellona were tossed aside. Before he could move I lunged at him. I drove my katanas into his armor just above his shoulders. He struggled against the blades. Jumping back, Bellona and Raph pulled themselves off of the floor to do similar with their Psi at his arms and legs.

"Grab some chains! And hurry!" I called back. Raph and Bellona took off, followed by Iris and Mikee. I stood in front of him. His laughter was without humor.

"I should have thought of this before I sent you. You are weak to suggestion as they are. I should have trained you myself, instead of letting him teach you." I ignored him, turning back to them for the first time since the guys had come in. And my mind went dark.

Athena POV:

I saw it when her eyes turned. I lunged at her as she leaped at us. I knew something was wrong. The two of us rolled, fighting for control.

"Venus, Snap out of it!" I pinned her down. Bellona and the others returned. Donnie told them to keep going, chain him up. I struggled to hold her.

"Help me," she said softly, "please, Athena, Please." I was shocked to hear these words. Her eyes were dark, but these were my sisters words.

"You have to fight it, Venus. You don't have to let this darkness control you." I held her down as Leo walked over. She struggled more against me.

"Make it end, Athena. I can't live like this. Not without him." I was puzzled.

"Without who?"

"Leonardo..." Her voice was small, frail. Leo rested a hand on her shoulder. She fought harder. "He wants him dead. He wants me to-"
