"You're awake!"
Was that Peters voice?
"Katrina!"
Who was that? There were so many voices!
"Ughhh", she groaned, her vision still very blurry as she put a hand to her head.
"Calm down everyone, she's been through a lot"
With the help of... someone, Katrina couldn't tell, she sat up and rubbed her eyes drowsily, trying to remember what happened.
"Wha... where am I?", she looked around desperately as her vision began to come back.
"Where's my brother?"
"I'm here!"
...
Two voices answered her."Oooh...awkward"
Blinking a few more times, Katrina's sight finally came back to her, and when it did a smile appeared on her face.
"You're all here!" Happy tears formed in her eyes as her friends all beamed back at her with relief in their face.
"So are you! Care to explain?" Laughed Peter.
"Robb, Peter, mother!"
She froze, "Oh uh sorry, m'lady I..."
Suddenly a pair of arms were wrapped around her, and red hair covered Kat's face.
"Don't be sorry Katrina, never be sorry" Catelyn weeped on her shoulder,
"I am so proud of you!".
Katrina hugged back with a force which probably crushed Catelyn, but she didn't care.
"You terrified me Kat" said another voice, as Robb took his turn to hug her, "you made me give that inspirational speech for nothing!"
Katrina laughed into his curls, "Thought I'd better come back and thank you for it first"
The Kings eyes were bloodshot, and his eyes were sunken.
"Robb..." Katrina stammered, "Robb I'm so sorry!"
She suddenly remembered why she apologised in the first place, "I tried to save him! But I failed, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
She was yelling now, hot tears streaming down her dirty cheeks as her mind was filled with the scarring memory of Lord Eddard's head rolling away.
"I have never been so proud of you. We are so thankful... you gave your life" Robb was crying too, but his voice was steady as he took her hands, "I can't believe you had the courage... you... you are a hero Katrina, the North will never forget this"
Smiling at him, partly in shock, Katrina sighed in relief and wiped her eyes of tears,
"They better not, I got the worse stitch running out of that rats nest of a city"
The tent was filled with the sound of laughter, as a servant came running in with a tray of food.
"We'll let you rest Kat, you've been though too much. Rest now and know, we're not going anywhere"
Slowly everyone left the tent, as Robb told Carver and the twins of the facilities he would set up for them and the clan she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"You scared me Kat"
Katrina turned her head to see Peter, who had stayed quiet throughout the ordeal. His eyes were tired and sad, but he seemed different... grown up.
"I'm sorry Peter" she leaned her head on his familiar shoulder, "I'm sorry I put you through all that"
He wrapped an arm around her protectively, as she heard him sigh deeply.
