Katrina slowly opened her eyes, to see that she was lying on her bed. The windows were open a crack, and she could see a slight eerie glow from the moon creeping in.

It's evening she thought, what happened?

She lifted her head up, which was a very bad idea, a sharp pain struck her, sending an ache through her skull.

"Ughh" she moaned, putting one hand to her head, feeling around to find where the injury was.
"Ouch!" There is was, on the back of her head, she could feel a deep cut.

What the hell happened to me?

But then all the memories came flooding back to her.  The Banquet. The Queen. Her secret... Her execution.

I was right, I'm going to die.

Katrina led on her bed for a long while, not crying or even worrying. She was done for now, nothing to do about it. She tried going back to sleep, but the pain in her head kept her from it, sighing in frustration she sat up.

"I was so close" she said out loud, "So close to those doors"

They had been right there, she had been that close she could see the grain work in the wood, see the moonlight from the crack coming from under the doors.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, and a man came in dressed in a heavy grey woollen robe, with a 'necklace' of metal links. It was maester Luwin. Katrina sighed with relief, for a moment thinking it was the Queen.

"Luwin!" said Kat, clearly happy to see him. The old man sat on the edge of her bed.

"You've taken a nasty blow to the head there" he said, "But I'm sure you've figured that out yourself" he chuckled slightly.

"It bloody hurts" she complained, "but what of the others? Sansa and Robb?" She feared that they had been punished for allowing her to try and escape.

"They're all fine! Everyone one is fine"

Katrina sighed in relief again,

"Although, they are a little overwhelmed of course" he looked at her, concerned.

"I don't know what to tell you" she said "I still can't believe they cleared the way for me, they wanted me to escape"

"Well of course they did! You're like family to all of us here Katrina, now lean forward. I should apply a poultice to that wound of yours". Katrina did as he said, wincing as he tended to the wound.

"I'm going to have to wrap a bandage around your neck, ok?". Katrina just nodded. As Luwin worked, there were suddenly loud voices from outside her room.

"We need to see her!"

"Let us in!"

"We need answers!"

"She's our friend!"

"We live here, not you!"

"Sounds like you have company" chuckled Luwin, "let's not keep them".

Finishing up bandaging Katrina, Luwin left the room. When he opened the door to leave Katrina saw all six Stark children in the doorway, and seeing their chance they all ran through the open door. The guards just groaned, clearly tired of arguing with them.
