Katrina winced as she stood outside Robb's tent, listening to him shout at his mother.
"You traded Jaime Lannister, the kingslayer, Tywins first born son for my sisters who he won't even return!"
Ouch.
"I just want them home Robb!"
"We're going to get them home! When we win this war! Or do you not have faith in me?"
"Of course I do!"
"Mother I hate to do this, but from now on you can't leave this tent. If you were anyone else I'd have to execute you"
Katrina gasped at his words, although they were completely true. She felt so sorry for poor lady Stark, yet she was also furious. How could she have set Jaime fucking Lannister free?
"When we arrive at Riverun I'll find a room suitable for you to stay in aswell"
"Robb! Wait!"
Suddenly the tent flaps opened, and Robb came out with his face to the floor.
"That...must have been hard"
"It was" he sighed, "But I had to"
"I know you did"
"My own mother? I mean... Gods what mess" he massaged his temples with a frown. "I need a strong drink"
"And good company?" Kat grinned,
"Don't see why not" he grinned back slightly, "Come on then Curly"
"Oh Gods don't you start with the nicknames now!"
.
.
.
Robb clumsily poured her another drink, spilling half of it over his lap."Robb you dick" Giggled Kat, grabbing her cup and wagging her finger at him.
"Is that how you speak to your Lord?" He said in a low tone, trying to unsheath his sword but getting it stuck.
"Ah shit" he laughed, making Kat choke on her wine.
"Sit down you idiot!"
She giggled as she downed her cup, her vision vibrant and colourful.
"Soooooo?" She grinned, tracing her finger around the rim of her cup. "Let's talk about Talisa, that woman on the battlefield"
Robb blushes deeply and giggled,
"There's nothing to talk about!""Oh of course there's not! I mean clearly you don't fancy her" she giggled again. "You loooove her Robb" She grinned at his red face.
"Your good looks can't hide everything you know!""Oh yeah? Well your ancient magic can't hide your feelings for that squire"
She instantly recoiled in her seat, struggling to put on a smile.
"Which one?" She asked, taking a deep swig of wine.
"The not Peter one"
"Ah right! Not Peter of course!" She chuckled,
and Robb let out a bark of laugher."I meant Gared! Even though I'm pretty sure Peter is in the picture too"
"I refuse to be in love" she stated bluntly, crossing her arms. "I don't need anyone"
Robb sighed deeply, stumbling to lean across the table and take her hand. "I know why you'd say that Kat, but sometimes we just don't have a say in the matter"
"Hmph, we'll see about that. There is no way I'd let a man near me."
Now Robb pouted at her, "It wouldn't kill you to open up you know"
