Lucy Is Gone For Good?

Chapter 9: The Return. Love is Coming Together

No one's POV:

The train ride to Fairy Tail was full of happiness.

Juvia confessed her love to Gray, who turned bright red and said that he loved her too. They were holding each other for the whole ride, and a few other things if you know what I mean.

Flow decided it wanted to come along too, it'll be the newest member of Fairy Tail. It floated around the train car excited and happy to meet new friends. but was too shy to watch the kissing fest.

Gajeel also confessed his love to Levy. Her tomato face was sparkling with joy that they kissed for about five minutes straight, with tongue. (XD ~(>w<)~ I'm so happy right now) Lily was too shy and embarrassed to watch too.

Levy didn't just get Gajeel, she also got three of the books she wanted. The Cure, The Death Journal, and Fairy Tail. Eventually after Levy and Gajeel stopped kissing she dove right into the Fairy Tail book while sitting on Gajeels lap as he cuddled her.

Erza still got a weapon from the dragon, even though she chose Lucy. It was a large dragon claw that was about as tall as Erza and a dragon scale shield that was about the same size. Their special ability is that they can absorb any Dragon Slayer attack and use the magic against the opponent, also with every hit it takes it makes the weapons that much stronger.

Laxus and Loke went their separate ways. Laxus asked Natsu to tell the Master that when he comes back he'll be a worthy successor, just like, if not better than him. Loke went back to the spirit world, revealed that Lucy was going to be fine and asked that they keep Lucy's keys safe until she can renew the contracts with all the spirits.

Happy, Charles, and Lily talked together about their family back in Edolas. SpearHeart gave them a magical telepathy card, kinda like Cana's, that allowed them to make contact with them whenever they wanted.

Wendy, Gajeel and Natsu were each given a letter from their dragons (Igneel, Metalicana, and Grandeeney). They all were extremely happy and read it right away. Except Natsu.

He thanked SpearHeart for her help and gave the letter back saying with a smirk, "Thanks for the offer but the only way I want to hear from him is when we meet face-to-face." Then they left.

The whole ride back to Magnolia Natsu didn't move. He sat by the window holding Lucy's egg. He had his feet up on the seat in front of him to support the egg, he would take no chances.

Somewhere along the way Levy, after her kiss with Gajeel, stood up in realization.

"What are we going to do?" She squealed.

"What's... wrong Levy?" Gray asks finally breaking away from making out with Juvia.

"How is Lucy going to pay for her rent?" She panicked.

"What?" Everyone asks in confusion.

"Not only that! There is also: Who's going to take care of the Lucy? Who will keep her keys safe? Who is going to take care of her house?..." She rambled on.

"And how will she adjust to being gone for six months? She would know what has gone on." Erza added.

"Exactly!" Levy exclaimed.

"I'll take care of Lucy. I'll stay by her side no matter what." Natsu spoke up from the side of the group, still unmoving. "Happy can help me too." He said looking over at happy with a large smile.

"Aye, sir!" He responds like he always does.

"Ok, then Gray and I will cover her rent. Well go on missions to--" Erza was cut off by Juvia who had a different idea.

"Juvia thinks Gray and Juvia should go on missions and cover her rent instead." She blurted out. Flow excitedly started waving it's chibi water hand in front of Juvia's face, eager to go with her on an adventure. "And Flow too." She said with a smile.

A small gihi of entertainment escaped Gajeel's mouth and he raised his hand. "I'll take care of the house if Flame Brain here destroys it like he does everything else."

"HEY!!!" Natsu yells offended. Gajeel giggles his gihi again and looks back at the rest of the group.

"Alright, I'll look after the Gate Keys then." Erza said.

"Oh! I'll write about everything that happens until she's back." Levy volunteers.

"LAST STOP, MAGNOLIA! EVERYBODY OFF!!" The conductor called out as the train started to stop.

"Come on everyone! LETS TELL EVERYONE THE GOOD NEWS!!"
