Lucy Is Gone For Good?

Chapter 5: The Gold Lion!!!

Leo’s POV:

    The stampede of old guild friends came crashing down on him. Their warmth and tears comforted my broken heart. Lucy was gone and there was nothing I could have done to save her. I somehow got trapped in this world and I can’t seem to get back. I was not responsible for her death right? I can’t be banished from the spirit world again. I can’t do that. I fell to my knees and tried not to cry. Natsu was the first to notice.

    “Hey are you ok?” He asked with his holy smile.

    “Lucy…” That was all I could say.

    “What about Lucy?” Everyone was staring.

    “I… I can’t go back…”

    “What? Go back where?”

    “The spirit world… It is just like last time… I can’t do that… I CAN’T BE BLAMED FOR MY MASTER’S DEATH AGAIN!!”

    They stared at me in dismay. But then Natsu put his hand on my shoulder and said, “If anyone should be responsible then it would be me.”

    Just then a shiver ran through me and I could see a faint, familiar face looking up at me. Loke…  I flinched at the sweet heartacking sound of Lucy. It is not your fault. Don’t blame yourself. Help them find the Great Dragon. It may be possible to bring me back.

    I looked at Natsu, he heard it too. All he did was put his finger over his mouth and wink. He knew about her but it didn’t seem like anyone else knew. So this will be our little secret. Everyone comforted me and told told me about the dreams they had in a nearby Inn. All while me and Natsu took turns holding lucy and listening to her sweet hopeful voice.

Lucy’s POV:

    They slept beside each other so they could hold me while they slept. Making sure nothing happened to me again. Their warmth was flowing into me keeping me going. But that cool wet feeling still shivered my invisible body. I knew I was safe, I will always be safe with Natsu…

Natsu’s POV:

Natsu…… Natsu…..Natsu…..

    Oh no, not you again… I grunted. The weird voice probably has another weird riddle which will give me a headache.

Congratulations on your success,

I feared you would not make it I confess.

Now is not the time for rejoice,

But to listen and hear my voice.

All must come and see the mountain’s view,

But be careful or you’ll be turned into stew.

Once you come there will be a fire,

That will lead you to your hearts desire.

There will be a choice to make,

Be cautious for you might make a mistake.

I will take your voice,

until you make a choice.

For if one choice is made wrong,

Then lucy will be long gone.

I woke with a scream. Wait, there was no sound. I didn’t scream, or did I? I touched my throat and it felt normal. “.....!!!?” Nothing, I couldn't speak and It was infuriating. Stampeding through the rented room, I tried to use my magic to wake everyone else up. Fire Dragon Roar!!!! Spit and hot air came out of my mouth like farts out of a fat mans ass. “...!!!!” What is going on here?!

    I hit gray to wake him up. But he caused a chain reaction and everyone around him starts to wake up as well. They were awake, and furious. A giant fight broke out and all but me, Loke (who was still sleeping with Lucy), Wendy, and Charles were in it. Happy stopped playing around and floated over to where I was standing. “Come on Natsu aren’t you gonna have some fun?” he asked with his cute cat face. He can fight but I can’t. T^T I curled up in the darkest corner of the room and started to sob. The fight was breaking up by the time Happy respond to my gesture.

“YOU CAN’T FIGHT OR TALK?!!!” the room yelled.

I felt like a lifeless body ready to be thrown away.

“HA HA HA HA!!!” Gray called out, “NOW I CAN FINALLY BEAT YOU  AND OFFICIALLY BECOME THE STRONGEST WIZARD IN FAIRY TAIL!!!”  His fist came at me like it normally did but I didn’t care.

Lucy’s POV:

    I woke to the racket of the wizards fight and noticed Natsu wasn’t next to me. Looking around I saw Natsu, Wendy and Charles standing on the outside  of the fight. Happy floated over before I could stand up, and by the time I was next to them all he was curled up and sobbing.

    “YOU CAN’T FIGHT OR TALK?!!!” Everyone yelled. Gray saw the opportunity and seized it.

“HA HA HA HA!!!” Gray called out, “NOW I CAN FINALLY BEAT YOU  AND OFFICIALLY BECOME THE STRONGEST WIZARD IN FAIRY TAIL!!!”  His fist flew through the air. If Natsu loses to Gray then Natsu will loses all of his pride and his title. I run over and prepare for a hit on my now solid arms. But Happy took the hit!! He had the same idea and flew right in front of me.  Putting my hands on Happy to support him, I heard a voice. “Fire dragon wing attack.” I closed my eyes and let the words fly out of my mouth. At first I didn’t expect anything to happen, but Gray was knocked back.  After he slammed to the ground I opened my eyes to see what happened but the only thing I could see was Happy’s beautiful flaming wings. They were two times bigger than Happy’s normal wings, and were blazing with Natsu’s flames. Natsu turned around looked at Happy shocked, and with an even more depressed aura dragging him down he turned to the corner again. Everyone else is standing there with a bamboozled look on their face.

“WHAAATTTTT??????????” They screamed.

Happy looked at Gray, “Don’t touch him!!” As his eyes teared up he continued, “Can’t you see? NATSU IS HURT ENOUGH! IF YOU START BEATING HIM UP NOW THEN HE MAY NEVER BE HAPPY AGAIN!!! SO DON’T TOUCH HIM!!!”

Happy…  Natsu sniffled in the corner Why? Why do you …? I could hear his thoughts so clearly, like they were my own.

“Natsu is my best friend, and… and …. WE ARE GOING TO GET LUCY BACK!!! so… so… SO DON’T FIGHT!!! DO YOU REALLY WANT LUCY BACK ,OR NOT?!!!”

Gray lay on the ground shocked. Ezra sighed and said, “Well, can’t argue with a flaming cat now can we? Speaking of which, who else had another weird dream?”

Everyone nodded and came together to talk about it. Happy, still floating in front of me panting with exhaustion. I took my hands off his tiny, fuzzy back and caught his as he fell with exhaustion. I pat his head and whispered a thanks and turned to Natsu. He had calmed down a bit and he is Natsu, he bounces back no matter what. I tap his shoulder and hand him Happy. Take care of him, you owe him that much. He nodded and I smiled, happy knowing he had at least one other person who cared for him about as much as I do.

A clatter of noise in the background and a, “We’re going to the MOUNTAIN!!” cheer, then we all were on our way. racing through the city and destroying things like everything was back to normal. Until we got to the bottom of the mountain.Someone, no… something was waiting for our arrival.
