Lucy Is Gone For Good?

Chapter 11: Welcome back... baby?!

??? Pov:

"Oh man! I can't wait for Lucy, Layla, and Key to get back!" I said ecstatically.

"Calm down Hero! Don't get Blaze wound up! We don't want to damage the egg."

"HEY!! I'M RIGHT HERE YA KNOW!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SO MEAN LIZ!" Blaze said in his usual yelling manner.

"I beg your pardon! Men shouldn't be yelling at young ladies like that! And my name isn't 'Liz' it's Lady Elizabeth!" Elizabeth said raising her little lady-like voice a little.

"SHUT the HELL up, you WORTHLESS little MAGGOTS!" Captain hollered.

Narrator:

Now, Let me explain a little about who these little flying people are. They have many different names, so call them Spirits, others may call them ghosts, goblins or ghouls, but the name they liked the best was 'Fairies.'

Each person has one 'Personality Fairy' and they are the person's innermost feelings, thoughts, and desires. The stronger the Personality Fairy, or PF, is the stronger the person's will power of feeling are. But when they learn to use magic another Fairy appears, they are called 'Magic Fairies' or MF, if you will. These Fairies are the source of a Wizard's magical power. Have you ever noticed that every wizard calls out their attack before attacking, well, when they call out they are asking their MF to lend their powers, and the Fairies have different ways of granting the Wizard's request. Normally the MF looks like someone or something related to how or why they learned their magic. For example, Natsu's MF, Blaze, is a red baby dragon that burns everything he touches, this means that the only things he can touch is Natsu, Frost, Gray's MF, and Rusty, Gajeel's MF. We all know how that story goes. But it's quite shocking to see how their PFs get along.

No one's POV:

It was exactly 6 months since the retrieval of Lucy's egg, and almost half the guild had been packed into Lucy's little apartment because Natsu refused to take her egg off her bed, so that's kinda why Gajeel is pissed.

"Come on you idiots! Stop breaking shit!" He didn't need to fix up the place until today, surprisingly. Natsu didn't punch a wall, scurry through her stuff, or beak the fridge (Mira brings him and Happy food and water), actually, he didn't even get off the bed unless he really had to do something...

"Natsu, I think that you need to go on a job after today..." Levy suggested.

"Wha-what?! Wha-wha-wha-what makes you s-s-say that?!" He blurted out trying to control his energy that has built up for the past 6 months. His skin looked like it hasn't been touched but the sun for more than two seconds.

"Yeah, what's up with that Hero?" Penper asks. (Remember! Only Fairies can hear both the humans and the Fairies.) Penper is Levy McGarden's MF and takes the form of lines on a small floating scroll. She could move the lines around to make different shapes and figures, that's how she performs the "Solid Script." But no matter how far she stretches her paper she is still no bigger than Levy's head. In fact all the Fairies are about the same in height.

"We, er... I have been trying meditating and day dreaming. But Blaze has either been sitting on Natsu's head staring at his flames,running around and exploring Lucy's room, which did sound tempting, or slept. Tch... Idiot..." Hero said back, in a way to relaxed voice. Hero is Natsu's PF, she looks like Lucy because Lucy is the main thing/person that influences his emotions, actions, and thinking.

"What did you say?!" Blaze yelled excitedly, knowing very well what Hero said.

"Aren't you supposed to be angry little lizard?" Frost said

"Why, you-!" Blaze retorted as the started fighting again. Which, in fact, lead to Natsu and Gray to start as well.

"Come on you two. Break it up." Captain and Erza stated firmly, both to their separate stupidity smack-down. Captain is Erza's PF (shocker) and looks like Jellal.

(OMG no way... *sarcasm* ok, you know what? I'm just going to put descriptions and names of the Fairies I talk about as an author's note. Ok? ... You don't really have a choice, so ok.)

Both the fighting stops and the waiting continues....

Hours go by and one-by-one people start to leave, thinking that today wasn't the day for the egg to hatch. By the time the sun started to set over the horizon there was only three people left. Levy, Natsu and Gajeel. The three stayed there in an eerie silence for what seemed like forever. Until Gajeel finished the repairs.

"We'll I'm goin-" Gajeel started but was cut off by a small cracking sound.

"It's hatching!!" Levy said excitedly. She had been focusing all of her thoughts her on the egg so that she didn't have to worry about what happened with Gajeel.

The large gold and silver egg was splitting and cracking into smaller pieces that was only held together by a small membrane. They stood there staring and waiting for Lucy to come back.

"Um guys..." Borm said. His black hair and piercings rivaled his worried expression. But shows that, as Levy's PF, she still has feelings for the gangster looking guy. "I have a bad feeling about this..."

"Why?" Teddy asked, looking over from dancing around with Hero. Teddy's blue hair and little orange dress quickly confirmed that she was Gajeel's PF.

"Look at the size to the egg, don't you think that it's a bit small for Lucy's body?" Borm replied.

"Now that you mention it... Yeah. It's hardly the size of Natsu's chest." Hero observes.

"Wow, the flame-brain actually got it." Rusty, Gajeel's MF, said. It's gray dragon hands collided in a slow clap that gets cut off by Blaze hitting him.

"So this means..." Hero continued.

"SHE'S A BABY?!?!?" everyone blasted in unison when they saw the tiny foot kick it's way through the egg.
