Leavy’s POV:

I couldn’t help but stare at the beautiful mystical creature that has invited us into it’s home. But we are here for Lucy and no one else.

“You seek what you heard from the voice,

But first you each must make a choice,

You can either have your Hearts Desire,

Or the one who drowned in fire.”

Holes opened up beneath everyone and we all fell in. I slid down for a short while screaming my head off and landed on something hard. I look down to see what it was and tilt my head in confusion. A book? What is a book doing in a mountain. I looked up to see mountains of books and ancient scrolls. I felt a tingle of excitement rush throw my body. It felt like heaven.

“Go ahead. This is every book and every scroll that was ever written in all of earths years. You have an hour to make a list of what scrolls and books you want. You can take up to thirty.” Spear Heart whispered.

Excitement rushed through my body and my eyes sparkled with glee. I squealed with joy as I ran through the aisles of words and knowledge. I find a book that catches my eyes and pluck it off the shelf.

“I can’t open it.” The book didn’t have a seal or chains, no strap or lock, but it was stuck. So I put it down and tried another. It wouldn’t open. None of them did.

“What is going on here?!” I yelled.

“If I show you then that would be cheating. You would have more than thirty books worth of knowledge…”

“Well then how am I supposed to know what ones I want?”

“Judge the book by the cover and the title. They will tell you what knowledge it holds…”

I look down at the cover of an old book. The History of The World. It looked too small to be the whole history, so I looked at the date on the cover. 8/13/158. Over 1500 years ago?! That makes more sense. I look at two more books, The History of Magic and Forgotten Magic. I look through even more until I got a small list of books in the first shelf.

List

Forgotten Magic

Languages Of The World

Earths History ( 00-now)

Dragons (everything about them)

The Cure for Everything

World Book Log

I kept on adding more and more books until I got to a book without a title. I examined it thoroughly. No Title, and nothing on the cover. I turned it over to the back. In the lower right corner there was a small button. Curiosity got the best of me and I pushed it. A faint arrow of magic appeared and pointed to the front of the book. I flipped it once more and saw the title. The Death Journal. I shivered but I couldn’t take my eyes off it until it faded away. I put it at the top of the pile and added it to the list.

An hour has passed and I only had six books on my list: The Cure, The World’s Family Tree, Thoughts, Everything About Dragons, The Death Journal, and Fairy Tail.

The Dragon came just like she said and read my list. She looked at me confused for a moment. “You know you can have up to thirty… Do you only want these?”

I nod. “These are the only ones I need. Thank you.”

“... Do you think that I’ll just give them to you?”

“What?” I look at Spear Heart in confusion.

Suddenly the room goes black and all I could see was the Dragon. She held out her hands. In one there were the books. In the other was an egg. The egg was a bright yellow with silver keys striping from end to end.

“In my left hand are your books… and in my right is a body for your friend. I am not completely sure if she can come back though… but if you choose the books then you will have then for as long as you like.”

Wait… What? Lucy or knowledge? If I choose Lucy she still might not be able to come back… but if I choose the books I can find everyones missing families and find out what Gajeel really thinks of me… What should I do?!
