Chapter 7: Hearts Desire or a Body? Part 2: Gajeel's Decision

After I came to a stop and the sick turning feeling in my stomach went away I looked around. No one. “Hey! Is anyone there?” No answer. I started to walk around the lamp lit cave. Well, I guess it would be considered a tunnel but I don’t care.

I kept walking for about five minutes until I came to a fork in the road... tunnel... cave… thing… whatever. In both sides were giant eggs. The left one was a dark gray with scaly patterns on it, like a dragon’s egg, and on the right was a purely golden egg. There was something about both of the eggs that seemed familiar, but i can’t seem to put my finger on it…

“Decision, decision. You must make. Before you sleeping friend can wake…” The dragon’s voice rang through the tunnel, echoing and drifting around. “What will you chose? Chose one and lose one. Metalicana or Lucy? Only one can be given and only one can be received.”

There is no way… How could that be? Metalicana?! He went missing over 14 years ago, and he’s a giant dragon. How would he be able to fit in a tiny egg?

The cave walls disappeared and I was surrounded by darkness. Only the now floatings eggs were visible. Your friends are making the same decision right now. A large bubble floated up from beneath me. It shone a bright light, and when I could see throw it clearly I saw Leavy. She was in a library of some sort. Playing in the books and making lists. Then it blurred out and showed Gray. I wasn’t quite sure what he was doing but it looked like he was carrying a giant block of ice up the mountain. What is he doing? Did they all not choose Lucy? Maybe they don’t want her back...
