"Hey, Little Crow?" asked Big Man.
"What do you want?" asked Little Crow getting angry.
"Nothing, just wanted to talk to you?" asked Big Man.
"About what?" asked Little Crow.
"My squaw you stole from me," said Big Man.
"Your squaw?" asked Little Crow.
"Yes," said Big Man.
"Matter of fact she likes me more than she does you," said Little Crow.
"What could she possibly see in you, do you think she wants to be with a half-breed whose daddy is a white man," said Big Man.
"You need to learn when to shut up," said Little Crow getting angry.
"Let's go then half-breed outside," said Big Man walking outside.
So Little Crow and Big Man started fighting. They both pulled out their knives and started swinging them at each other. Big Man almost cut Little Crow but ended up cutting his sleeve on his shirt. Little Crow cut Big Man in the arm; he was bleeding. Then they both dropped their knives and started throwing punches at each other. Finally, two male teachers came running out of the building and stopped them. They told them both to go to the principal's office.
"Big Man, go see the nurse and I'll call the ambulance to rush you to the hospital," said Principal Greg Tailfeather. "Now who started it?"
"Big Man started it but I finished it," said, Little Crow.
"No the male teachers came out and stopped it, I'm going to call your parents," said Greg Tailfeather.
The ambulance came to pick up Big Man and transported him to the hospital, they called his parents as well. Little Crow's father pulled up as the ambulance was leaving.
"Great," sighed Rocky Crow.
Little Crow's brother came running inside.
"Brother what did you do? This whole native rouge thing needs to stop, if he dies, you can be tried as an adult, his parents can sue us, our parents are not rich, did you ever think of that, there are other ways of handling certain situations," said Kicking Bird.
"Relax, it was only in the arm, I didn't stab him in the gut, all though that did cross my mind," said Little Crow.
"Not funny," said Kicking Bird.
"I've been fighting my whole life, it is in our blood, besides he deserved what was coming to him, he called me an apple," said Little Crow.
Rocky Crow walks into the building.
"That is no excuse for your behavior son," said Rocky Crow entering the office.
"Is he suspended?" asked Rocky Crow.
"Yes, for three days, and if he does not change, he will have to go to another school because I do not tolerate natives, who think they are better than most, that they claim to be real natives, half of the kids in my school do not know what it means to be a real native," said Greg Tailfeather.
"Now you have been suspended from school because of your actions," said Rocky Crow.
Little Crow just sat there with his arms crossed.
"Let's talk for a while, why do you hate the white man so much," asked Greg Tailfeather.
"They took everything from us, they took what they had no right to take, I remember watching the cowboys and pretending to help take out the Injuns by the hundreds, then one day sitting in front of the television I stopped because I realized I was one of them," said Little Crow.
