During the next lesson i realised that my friends... Well ex friends began to talk a lot more to Vanessa. I would always hear them laughing together and looking at me. I tried not to make eye contact as i knew that would just make things worse. As we had english and i was doing a project with Liam he would often ask me why i keep looking at Vanessa and if I'm ok. He still treated me the same even with glasses, he respected me the same, was nice to and the project looked great. But i couldn't concentrate on anything right now. Vanessa and my friends could be talking about me like crazy and i wouldn't know.
Ugh Vanessa makes me so angry and to think we used to be best friends. Oh wait don't you know, yes me and Vanessa were best friends in like year 7-9.
Vanessa had all the power. She was popular, had all the boys in her control and knew how to get her way. I was just some geeky science loving new kid who came in the middle of year 7.
I wasn't very good at making friends and one day Vanessa decided to let me into her 'squad' as i had 'potential'. For a long time i hanged out with her and we became really close. One day when we got our marks back for a math test i got the highest in the class.
All the boys, including her ex boyfriend, loved that i was apparently 'hot and clever' or thats what they said ugh.
Eventually Vanessa's broke up with her and ask me out.
I instantly refused and told Vanessa. Vanessa literally flipped out and forced our friends to choose a side. They all chose me and Vanessa made new friends and yeh thats the story of me and Vanessa. Jessica said that she was jealous that i was rich or something but i really dont know.
When lunch began i had no one to sit next to so i went to my friends and they were with Vanessa UGH! "Who invited that big eyed bitch to come here" Vanessa shouted. Everyone around her began to laugh.
"Yeh them are hugggeee" Massy agreed. Everyone laughed harder.
"Massy!" I shouted.
"Don't shout at my friend who do you think you are like wth!" Jessica shouted back.
"What the hell did i even do to you guys, is it suddenly a crime to wear glasses," i said back.
"You know what, we dont need your illiterate bull shit" Vanessa said pointing a finger in my face. Then she got up and the rest followed.
I couldn't sit by myself. So i saw Liam and joined him.
