Warning: has scenes of graphic violence and bloodshed! Tourchre is described but aparently not spelled well!
I flew out the gate with my 3dmg, trying to catch up to them but they got far out of sight before I could. Hanji was behind me and finally caught up.
"They got away" I spit between clenched teeth. Those bastards, every one of them. Even Fae. They all got away with our supplies and I knew I wouldn't see it again. I can't believe Fae went with them, she left me. It's happening again. No. Not this time. This time it's diffrent, she didn't die, I can still get her back.
I head back for the horse I left behind. "I'll find them." I say. "No matter what I'll find them.
As I pass the soldiers I'm startled at what I see. No. It couldn't be. I try to recount my memory, there was Fae, Foal, Night, and River...she wasn't with them.
"Stream." I call. She looks down at me.
"Oh hey Levi, where's River and the others?" She asks. "They didn't meet up with me at the time we said we would." I could tell she was nervous, probably because now she had to go through with their plans on her own.
"Oh they left." I say.
"What? Where?!" She asks panicked. I can see sweat glistening on her forehead and her grip tighten on the riens.
"They left to go back to your clan. But, you're not leaving." I say, a smirk appearing across my face. This makes her packick more but before she can flee I shout, "There's one more. Grab her!" And she is taken a hold of.
Hours later she still hasn't given up any information. We resort to pain.
"Are you sure you don't wanna tell us where your clan is?" I ask looking innocent.
"I'm telling you, I don't know from here." She says exsausted.
I sigh. "Well then there's only one thing to do." I take a small yet deadly sharp knife from a tray hidden in the shadows behind me and hold it so the dim light glares on it. She gulps and pulls at her chains.
"That's not going to work. You know where Fae is and won't tell me. You know where the love of my life went and won't tell me. So I'll enjoy this." I say. I grip her hand and slip the knife slowly under her fingernail.
She screatches in pain and I'm pleased. Good. She deserves this. Filthy outsider.
"Where's Fae?" I ask, my voice filled with hatred and discust.
"I don't know!" She cries. I dig the knife deeper under her nail and can see blood pouring put of it, I've cut her, good.
"Yes you do! Now tell me!" I persist. She screams and I can see tears streaming down her face.
"I." sob. "Don't." Sob. "Know." She is crying heavily. I push my knife back further, past her nail up and up until it pushes through to her finger it's self. She screams again and is crying heavily. "I DON'T KNOW! I DON'T KNOW! I DON'T KNOW!" She sobs uncomtroably. "FAE WOULDN'T LIKE THIS!" She screams.
"Shut up." I mumble, angered that she would bring Fae into this. I push the knife so that the handel only sticks out, it was a rather thin knife so I can see where it just barely raises her skin. "You know what's worse than when it goes in?" I ask.
She lifts her head, tear filled eyes staring deep into mine.
"When it comes out." I say, a growl in my voice and hate in my face and I quickly rip the knife from her finger and she screams. Blood drips down onto the floor, I've broken many veins. "Now," I say cleaning my knife. "Time for the other fingers. She looks at me in pure shock and terror. This will be fun.
~River~
I look at Foal, my face filled with shock. "We left Stream?!" I ask. He shoots me a look. 'We have to be quiet!' He signs. 'We're out here now!' I look down ashamed. 'Oh.' I sign. 'Right.'
'Yes we left Stream, and we have to go back for her.' He signs. This is my group, not his. Going back to the walls would mean certain death for us now.
'No.' I sign. He looks annoyed. 'What?' He signs back angered. I take a breath. I won't back down because of Foals evil stare.
'I said no. This is MY group, not yours. I'm the leader and we do what I say. We're going back to the clan. If you hadn't made this plan to get supplies then Stream wouldn't be still in there.' I sign.
'But-' he starts.
'No. You're going to listen to me now.' I say taking a step towards him ready to let it all out. 'This is MY hunting group, YOU took charge and got Stream captured, you always take charge and think you're better well you're not! There's as reason I was chosen over you to lead! You aren't a leader Foal, a leader would do what's best at the time. A leader would let his group have input. You just do what's best for you at the time.' I am nose to nose with him now. 'You aren't at leader Foal, I am. And we're not going back.'
It felt good to get that off my chest. 'Do you understand?' I sign, pissed off, finally my glare was worse than his! He was shocked by what I just did and slowly nods.
"Good." I growl outloud. 'Follow me.' I sign before walking off in the direction I guessed the clan was.
~Stream~
'Foal...' I think. Closing my eyes and the wall dweller pushes another knife into the next finger over. 'Foal please...save me.' I feel tears run down my cheeks and bite my lip. No way would I let him take pleasure in my screams.
"Where's Fae?" He asked again. But I didn't know. He wouldn't belive me. I had to say something else.
"With the clan." I breath, head down and already cold from bloodloss.
"And where are they?" The wall dweller demands, happy to finally be getting somewhere.
I hesitate, "...I don't know..." I say. He clicks his tounge and pushes the knife further into my finger and I scream in the shock. 'Don't scream!' I mentally scold myself. 'Don't scream. You can take this. You've taken way worse.' And that I have. A long time ago.
