Chapter 11

I turn and see Fae and the others in the doorway with three wall dwellers. There was Hanji, the dwarf, and another male I hadn't seen before.

"Foal, I-" I start but he cuts me off.

"Why the hell would you do that to me River?!" He yells. The sudden loud noise hurts my ears. "And you Stream, I thought you loved me." His gaze softens for a second as he faces Stream.

He grabs me by the hair and throws me into a wall, I screatch in shock, unaware that he had made from the doorway.

"Don't!" Hanji sqeales. Foal doesn't listen.

"This is a clan affair, stay out of it." He says, he punches my stumic so hard that I cough up blood. Stream watches in horror but is to weak to say anything.

He punches me again, this time across my face. I feel a sharp pain when he hits the bruise the wall dweller left when I stabbed her girlfriend. What was I, a relationship ruiner or some shit now?

I scream as he punches my jaw up.

"DON'T YOU SCREAM!" He yells, so close that I feel his spit hit my face. "YOU KNOW THIS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT THE CLAN WOULD DO TO YOU! YOU WANT ME TO BE LIKE THEM HUH?!" He grabs my hair and turns be, banging my face repetitively into the wall and bloodying my nose.

"HUH? YOU WANT ME TO BE LIKE THEM?! HUH?! THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN THEIR SHIT!" He kicks the back of my knees making me hit the wall at an angle that send the bone in my nose poping out of the skin. A normal person would die soon if it got any worse. I cry in pain.

"STOP CRYING!" He kicks my back, breaking it. I cry more. He lifts my hair so I look him in the eye. "Maybe I should do what the clan would." He spits through gritted teeth. "Huh? You want me to do that? Feed you to a titan? Leave you out there without a clan or weapons to save your sorry ass?!" I weakly look into his eyes, unable to cry now from the blood and dirt in my eyes.

"S...t...op" I hear Stream whisper. He looks at her and I notice the faint wetness of tears running down her cheek. He drops me onto the ground from which I can't get up.I watch as he walks towards her.

"Stream," he says, hugging her. "I'm sorry. Don't cry. I won't feed River to a titan." He assures her. I still wasn't 100% sure he'd keep that promise.

Fae and Night were silent by the door, knowing they couldn't do anything about my punishment. The wall dwellers looked on in horror unsure of what to do, all except the dwarf who had had a slight grin on his face. Bastard. I spit blood from my mouth and a tooth comes out. Great.

Foal turns to the doorway. "Let her down." He says with his eyes narrowed. The dwarf walks forward and unlocks the chains causing Stream to fall to the ground, this is when I realize that her legs are both broken.

Foal runs to her and hugs her tightly. "Shh. It's ok. It's ok Stream. I'm here now." He whispers.

"I'm...s..o.rr..y" Stream whispers as loud as she can, still crying.

"It's ok. I forgive you." He replies planting a kiss on her. My heart breaks, they were back together.

I weakly try to stand but cannot. Foal picks Stream up bridal style and walks to the door, he, Fae, and Night head down the hall.

"What about River?!" Hanji asks in shock at what she had just witnessed.

"Leave her." Foal says. She glances at me and bites her lip before leaving. I close my eyes as male I didn't recognize follows her.

I deserve this. I broke a clan rule. Two. Not only was Stream with Foal but she was a girl. I deserve to die here. In a puddle of my own blood and the dirt of the unwashed room.
