Stream comes back holding some thing in her hands, the dwarf. She sets him next to me, blood covered but not injured. I gulp when I know it is the blood of my clan.

"River..." he says. "Then that means..." he looks at Stream. "That's Stream?" I nod in confirmation. His eyes widen and he backs up, drawing his blades. "You saw me kill Fae, please say you're not mad!" I laugh a bit, earning a strange look from both of the two.

"Of course I'm not mad at you." I say stepping towards him and hugging him tightly. "I'm mad at the other wall dwellers. I've sent Night for them already. But don't worry, I won't hurt you. I love you."

He pushes me away. "YOU'RE GOING TO KILL THEM?!" He says, shocked. I nod. His expression goes cold. "I can't let you. Call it off, please." I shake my head.

"I can't, not from here."

"THEN WE'LL GO TO THE WALLS!"

"Why are you so mad? You killed my clan. It's only fair that I kill yours."

"I didn't kill your clan! That's what Fae thought as well before she attacked me...before I killed her." He looks me in the eyes. "River, I would never kill your clan."

"But you were there! Covered in their blood!" I press.

"It was your blood you idiot! I moved you when you passed out. I went to your clan alone to get them to help...they were dead."

"How?"

"HOW DOES EVERYONE DIE RIVER?! THEY DIED THE SAME WAY EVERY FUCKING HUMAN DOES! They died because of a titan..."

Why hadn't I emidiatly guessed this? He must have tried to save them...now I've started to kill all of his friends. No. Night wouldn't be able to kill them all. Maybe a few. And the Pacific wouldn't help, they hate us! I sent Night to death. That's why he hesitated.

Tears flood from my eyes and I hug the dwarf tight. "I'm so sorry!" I sob. "I'm so sorry I'm an idiot..." he hugs me back.

"It's ok."

Stream unshifts and joins us. "River...Night is dead. You do realize that right? We left without telling the wall dwellers so he's ethier dead or touched like I was." I nod.

"Yeah. I know. He's dead. Dead. Oh my god. Foal!" I look over the edge of the branch at his body and cry more.

"River. You know you broke clan rules." Stream says. "And I'm sorry but you know the punnishment."

"Get it overwith." I mumble.

"Wait a second! What's the punnishment?! You guys are always to harsh!" The dwarf says, I ignore him. I have failed as a leader and broken clan rules. Survival of the fittest. Not being able to lead means death.

Stream places and hand on my shoulder.

"Like Foal?" She asks. I slowly nod.

"Anything to say?"

The dwarf cuts in. "WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?! ARE YOU GOING TO KILL HER?! RIVER?!"

I can't die however. Stream doesn't know this. She herself can die at a certain killspot. But I can't. The dwarf doesn't know this ethier. Nobody knows this, except me.

"RIVER ANSWER ME! WHAT'S SHE GOING TO DO?!" The dwarf says, he tries to pull Stream off me but he can't.

I shake my head. "No. I have nothing to say." I reply. What would be the point in dieing words? I'll act dead, wait for them to go away. Then I'll run. I'll run far from the walls. I'll run to another camp and start a new clan. I'll survive.

"RIVER!" The dwarf shouts. Stream pushes me off the ledge. I mouth 'I love you' there. Dieing words. My back cracks when I hit the ground.

"You killed her!" The dwarf rages. I watch and stop my breathing.

"I had to." Stream says sounding somewhat depressed. "I didn't want to ethier. I loved her."

"YOU loved her?! You left her for her brother! You let her bleed out in that room! I saved her! I loved her! YOU did nothing!"

He grips her neck and holds her off the side of the branch. "Let me show you how we punish people in the walls." He narrows his eyes at her. My lungs scream for air but he'd see if I breathed.

Fear filled her eyes and he dropped her off the edge of the branch. She screamed as she fell, he climbed down to meet her on the ground.

"But you'll just heal won't you?" He growls. He takes out a blade and I close my eyes, hoping they won't notice that I did. I hear screams of pain from Stream, he's probably looking for that one spot she can die. And he finds it. Her screams are silenced.

"River." I hear him sob. "River I'm sorry..." He lays his head on me and cries into my shirt. I want to say that I'm ok. But I can't. And I need some to breath but I can't.

Eventually he leaves and once I can't smell him anymore I open my eyes and gasp for breath.

"I'm sorry too..." I whisper and allow myself to cry, not moving from my spot. I knew he wouldn't take me back with him, it'd be to risky because I was a outsider. And it was back outside. Forever.
