The next day I woke up early, looking around at the others. Ymir had fallen asleep next to Krista and Mikasa seemed scary even in a deep sleep from which I knew I could not wake her.

I tiptoed outside and ran to where the clan had agreed to meet up and gather our thoughts. Under a oak tree, illuminated by moonlight, was my clan.

"Ok, Rivers here." Foal said. "Now we can get started." No one but me seemed to care that he had taken over my leadership role...AGAIN. "The wall dwellers have accepted us into their army. I need all of you to not show your full skill today." He continues.

Fae cuts in, "What? Why not? I could beat 'em all up if I wanted to!" She has a proud smirk playing at her lips.

"Exsactly." Foal says. "We still don't know if we can trust them. Here's the plan, we keep some of our talent hidden but still show enough to get out of the walls as quickly as we can. We then take their supplies and go back to the clan." I was shocked. How could he say such a thing?

"But what about the others here?" Stream asks. "They don't deserve to die!" Foal shoots her a warning look.

"Who are you going to obey? The wall dwellers, or your clan?" He says in a serious tone. This makes Stream look to the ground, ashamed at her words.

"My clan." She says in at most a whisper.

"So are we all on the same page?" Foal asks. Everyone, including me nods. But I didn't want to leave the walls. I thought the clan would be happy. I knew I couldn't bring this up, or Foal would turn my group against me. I was still technically the leader, I could stop this. If they'd even listen anymore.

That day at training everyone did as instructed, flying through their drills like a breeze, but pretending they had to focus hard to achieve this fact. Stream however, did stuggle a bit with the 3DMG, but she got the hang of it and eventually was better than most of us. Except Foal. He seemed to be the best at it. He was good at everything. But kept to his own advice, and kept it secret.

"You're getting good." Erwin says. "Keep training like this, and maybe you can leave with us next week." The clan smiled but I felt my heart sink. A week. A week before we betrayed them. Here I was, trying my hardest not to get them to hate me, and now, it was pointless. Now we would take their supplies and run.

Sorry for the short chapter! But don't worry, I'll have a longer one next time. ;3 so what do you guys think? Will the clan betray the wall dwellers? Comment below! ^-^
