There was no hope left in Taehyung. How long had it been? Days? Weeks?

"Do you want me to talk to him?" Jimin asked as he was over for a visit with his boyfriend.

Taehyung shook his head. "I don't think it'd make things better. I mean, either he won't listen to you, or maybe he'll be pissed by me complaining to you," he said with a sigh.

"Maybe I could beat him up," Hoseok suggested, but Taehyung glared at him, then Hoseok just laughed. "I'm kidding."

Yes, Jimin and Hoseok were together. When they still were in school, Jimin was with Yoongi, but their relationship ended their last year of school. Jimin was crushed, and the one that was there for him all the time was Hoseok. And he wasn't in love with Taehyung anymore, he always denied it. He had changed into a better person. He changed for his love. For Jimin.

"You know," Jimin said, "if you want him to change back to how he used to be, you just got to talk to him."

Taehyung sighed again. "And how do you suggest I do that? Haven't you been listening to me?" Taehyung asked, getting more upset. "He's never home! And when he is, he's drunk! He won't remember anything the next day!" Taehyung yelled and he stomped back and forth in the living room. "He doesn't care anymore, and I don't even know why I do anymore either."

They all went silent until Taehyung would calm down again. "If he comes home drunk tonight," he said, "I can't take it anymore."

Taehyung was waiting anxiously at home after his work - he always had shorter working days than Jungkook, and he was even allowed to work home sometimes. He had sent Jungkook text messages about coming home to dinner, but he never replied. He even tried to call, but he knew Jungkook declined. Taehyung wanted to prevent Jungkook in coming home drunk. He didn't want to even think that he couldn't take it anymore. He wanted to survive. He wanted them to survive together, but if Jungkook didn't improve himself, how could they?

Taehyung decided he'd wait outside Jungkook's work place and pick him up. They would prevent him into going out and drink, wouldn't it?

After Taehyung had waited for about an hour, he spotted Jungkook with his colleagues exiting their tattoo shop. Taehyung quickly pressed the horn, causing all of them to jump, and Jungkook turned around right away. When he spotted Taehyung in the car, he bolted as fast as he could over to him.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, almost looking anxiously.

"Picking you up, of course," Taehyung said in a matter-of-factly tone as he started the car and waited for Jungkook to get inside.

"Go home, I'll be late tonight," he answered and backed away from the car.

Taehyung felt his veins pop in anger. "YAH, JEON JUNGKOOK!" he yelled, causing Jungkook to flinch, "get in the fucking car!"

Jungkook looked over at him with a forlorn look. "I can't hyung," he said and hurried back to the other men. They were giving Taehyung looks, and he found it disgusting. How could Jungkook hang out with those guys? How could he choose them over him?

Taehyung drove back home. He put the food he had in the oven, without having it turned on, and placed it in the fridge instead. He lay down on the sofa whilst staring on his phone.

Taehyung had called Jimin again, and they didn't talk too much. Taehyung was crying. He'd had enough. He was tired. He was hurt. He was crushed. All because of his boyfriend. All of their cheerful times at turned cheerless. Taehyung used to grin from ear to ear whenever he'd see, or even just think about Jungkook. Now he couldn't even bring himself to faintly smile. He couldn't think of happy thoughts. It was like they never happened, only in his dreams.

"Taehyung-ah," Jimin's soft voice called on the other line when Taehyung wouldn't stop crying, "please don't cry. He won't go anywhere. He loves you."

"I'm not so sure about that," Taehyung replied in between his sobs, "I got to go, he'll probably be home any minute," Taehyung sighed and they hung up. He stared at the door, hoping with all of his might that he would come home sober.

"I swear to God Jeon Jungkook," he mumbled to himself, "if you come home wasted, it'd be the last time you'll come home at all."
