3 months later(August Pov)
Its been like three months since i seen Alana or my baby girl. Of course i miss em like hell but Alana been getting on my nerves and ion wanna snap on her ass. Anyway i been living at Mel crib with him,his baby mama and three daughters. Im mad at myself for not being around my little girl but Alana was right she dont need to be around the kinda shit I do. School started back up but i haven't went I dropped out. School was basically teaching me shit I can go out on the block and learn. Anyway Im out with Mel making a quick kill cuz a new recruit ain't bring our money back so we gotta show his ass we don't play.
"Ight Yungin imma make this quick" Mel said grabbing his stap
"Ight bra take ya time" i said eating my piece of chicken
He laughed and shook his head
"Ight fat ass" he said getting up and going up to the house
Bout like ten minutes past and i heard like six shots. I smiled cause i knew my brother handled his work. I waited in the car for him to come out but that took forever.
Thirty minutes past so i finally went to see what was taking so long. I grabbed my strap and went into the house. I walked around for a bit into i saw some shit that made my heart stop. Somebody then killed my brotha
"A-August" he whispered.
I dropped the gun and went got down next to him
"Y-you gone make it okay" i said trying not to cry and holding his hand
"N-nah bra take care of m-my babies" he said as his eyes closed
I immediately started crying. Then i heard a click behind my head. My tears stopped and anger took over me.
"Night night nigga" i heard somebody say.
I turned around and grabbed the gun before he could shoot. We wrestled over the gun. It went off a few times while we were fighting over it. I got shot and so did he. I got shot in the shoulder and he got shot in the chest. He let the gun go and fell back.
"This for my brotha bitch" i shot him into the gun ran out of bullets.
I can't belive this shit just happened. I went over to mel's body to see if I had a chance to take him to the hospital but it was to late. His pulse was completely gone. My tears came back and I couldn't stop them.
"Rest in peace Mel" i said as i walked out to the car.
My shoulder hurted like hell but i ain't really give a fuck. I got in the car and drove straight to my mama house. I didn't wanna tell her this shit i know she'll cry but i had no choice.
I took a deep breath before going into the house.
"She's getting so big" i heard my mama say from the living room
I went into the living room and they started looking at me.
"August what the hell happened" my mama asked giving Amari to Alana
"I-its nothing ma j-just listen okay" i told her
She nodded her head.
"M-ma t-they got em" i said as i started crying
She looked confused.
"W-who baby stop crying and tell me" she said looking at me with worried eyes
Alana looked worried to but didn't say anything
"M-mel mama" i cried harder
She started crying and Alana teared up.
"W-what happen" she cried
I knew my mama and Alana was gone be mad as hell when i tell them this story but i had no choice.
After i explained the story mama smacked me.
"August i told y'all to stop that shit! Look at what selling drug got y'all! Mel fucking dead and you gone be the next one!" she yelled
I couldn't say nothing back i just held my head down. She took a deep sigh.
"Alana can you fix him up" she asked as she took Amari back
She nodded and went into the bathroom, I followed her. She didnt say anything to me so i spoke up.
"I'm sorry" i said while sighing
She nodded and I teared up.
"A-August dont cry i accept your apology" she said while patching up my arm
"I-I wasn't there for y'all" i said while crying
I hate crying.
"Its okay August stop crying" she said while rubbing my back
"I-Its not okay Mel dead cause of me i was supposed to make sure to get the money" i cried
She sighed
"August look at me" she said while grabbing my face
I looked up at her cause i was sitting on the toilet seat and she was standing up.
"This is not your fault and don't be upset because you wasn't there me and Amari were fine. I just want you out of that type of stuff okay" she said while looking in my eyes
I nodded and wiped my face
"Thank you" i said while standing up and hugging her
She hugged back. We stood there hugging into we heard Amari crying.
"I'll get her" i told Alana as i went into the livingroom and got her out her play pin
She was so chunky
"What the hell yo mama feeding you" i asked
She just laughed and i did too. She was so big now. She had like two little teeth and looked more and more like Alana.
"Im sorry I wasn't there to watch you grow chunky mamas" i said while kissing her cheek.
She just laughed again. I can't wait for her to meet kay chay and mya. Just as i thought that i started wondering how am i gonna explain this to them. They little hearts gone break.
I started crying again. I gotta stop this shit cause i don't want my little girl to be like that.
