Today says it all;
Our marriage and bonding
-it's fakery, is explained.
The white that ironically
Belonged to me
Now hangs at the low-back,
Of your young wife-to-be
What was mine?
Was it all really yours?
After all, you won the money,
And I won the chores
And the lawyers agreed,
And made the deal
That I'd keep the kids.
Every two weeks,
You're supposed to be there
Our youngest still waits at the gate
When I arrive, he frowns
Buts that's mine too.
Your unwanted responsibility
I only agreed to come,
Because they want to see you
For the first time in centuries,
Your first meeting
Is at your wedding.
The look of resentment but content
Says it all
The black bow tie and the white tuxedo
Says it all
The bride that waltzes before your evil eyes
Says it all
I was never the one for you.
Just a stepping stone, a tool.
There.
Now I've said it all.

I think something's wrong with me. I keep writing poems like these :/
