It all starts, with a snide comment,
You don't think or consider
How the other person feels
Before you know it you're shouting,
Screaming to be heard
You don't wanna give in or see their point of view,
You have to win, you always do.
Days pass by, weeks, then months
All following the same routine
You wait all day to hear
The comfort of the other's voice
And you don't want it to, but it happens anyway.
At last, the one, black rose
The rare, the unexpected surprise
That one night, where you both
Finally give in
And all that time is worth it
Because of that one moment
Where; it's all okay.
