XYRA'S POV

Napalunok ako ng malalim. Yung feeling na parang sa sobrang lakas ng tibok ng puso ko eh lalabas na 'to sa dibdib ko. Remember yung trabaho na ni-recommend sa akin ni Rhian? Ito na yun. I've prepared everything and now, it's time for my job interview. Todo dasal talaga ako kanina pa.

Jusko, Lord. Please sana maaging maayos po ang interview. Sana makapasa para po sa future namin ni Kersey.

Biglang bumukas ang pinto ng interview room kasabay nito ay lumabas ang secretary in charge, "Miss Xyra Belloso?" tawag nya. Ako na to! I stood up. "You're next." she said.

I nodded. Okay, remember. Be confident. At wag kakalimutan ang eye contact. Kaya mo 'yan, Xyra! I heaved a big sigh for the last time and entered the room.

KYLE'S POV

Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala at maka-move on sa pangyayari. That night when fate decided for us? Salamat sa coin na yun. Napapayag ko rin si Xyra na lumabas kami! After night, wala akong ibang inisip kung paano ang magiging itinerary ng date namin. Hmm, movies? dinner? amusement park? Whoa. I want it to be really special, so special that she won't ever forget.

"Hey...Kyle?" I came back to my senses when Mycah called me. I noticed just now that I've been swirling my wine glass the whole time. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. May naalala lang ako." pasimpleng sagot ko.

"Well, mukhang masayang pangyayari yan. Kanina ko pa kasi napapansin na...napapangiti ka." sabi nya. Talaga? Napapangiti na lang ako ng hindi ko nalalaman? I guess, masaya nga ako.

I nodded and smiled. "Ganun na nga siguro." sagot ko. I set down my spoon and fork on my plate. I'm done with my meal. "So, how's you and Ran?" I asked. Ran is her boyfriend. If I am not mistaken, 6 years na sila. They've been dating since college.

Mycah was about to sip her drink when she stopped. Pero itinuloy nya rin agad. She was not able to answer my right away. Nagsimula na akong magtaka. Ba't hindi nya masagot agad? Usually naman dati kapag nagtatanong ako ay sumasagot agad sya na nakangiti. But now? That smile is not visible on her lips.

"Myc, may problema ba?" pabahol na tanong ko.

She bowed her head and replied, "We broke up." What?! Kaya naman pala sa trabaho medyo wala sya sa sarili nya. She looks downhearted and distracted. When I asked her if she already my reports, hindi pa raw at nakalimutan nya. So that's the reason behind her job performance. "He broke up with me." she added.
