"Where the hell are we?" Nate says, rubbing his head. I raise from the metallic floor, staring at everything around me.
It's like I was in tech-heaven. Raze laptops, Alienware computers, books filled with information about Alphas, Microsoft tv's, Apple products, armored wet suits, everything you could ever want.
Sky grabs me by my shirt and pushed me into the wall, kissing me. "I'm so sorry." She says. I smile. "So am I. I love you." I say.
"I love you too." Suddenly a door slides open and outsteps Jones. Sky and I stop kissing before hugging him tightly.
"How are you kids doing?" He asks. Everyone says the same thing. Good. "Where are we?" Scott asks Jones.
Jones pulls out a card. "Home. My home. This is the house that I grew up in. I'm giving it to Max's parents. Starry City is where we need the team. Where we need you Max." He says.
I look at him confused. "What do you mean 'where we need you'?" I ask him. Jones laughs. "You'll find out soon enough. Right now, let's just get you guys to Starry City."
And for three years I've been in this city and now, we know why we're here.
