A feeling like no other

Josh paused a moment then looked away with a soft blush on his cheeks. "N-never mind."

Chris frowned a bit and slowly let Josh go. "Alright. I'm gonna go take a shower. You can have the rest of my sandwich, if you want it."

The raven haired male let out an uneven sigh as he glanced at Chris as the blonde walked out of the kitchen and to the bathroom. Once the bathroom door was closed, Josh smacked his forehead with the palm of his hand.

"Don't say anything to him. You'll ruin the friendship, idiot. Besides, he wouldn't want to be with a creature that could kill him in a moment... Shut up.. I know I wouldn't hurt him on purpose." He said to himself.

Josh shook himself out of his thoughts and walked into the living room and sat on the sofa, not wanting to eat anymore. He turned on the television and noticed a pile of CD's on the coffee table. He decided to be a bit nosey and look through them. The CD's were only numbered, were they music, movies, porn, nothing? Curiosity took over Josh and he picked up the one that was labled 10.

Easing off the sofa, he made his way to the DVD player that was built in the side of television. Slippimg the CD into the slot, he changed the television settings to set it on DVDVS. A blue screen popped up with numbers at the top. He guessed it was to tell how long the CD is and the track number. As he pressed play, he was surprised to hear rather soft, soothing music.

A soft smile eased across Josh's lips as he made his way back to the sofa, sitting down. He allowed his head to rest on the headrest of the sofa, the music basically engulfed his mind. Around 7 tracks later, he heard a sound which snapped him out of his little trance. Raising his head, he saw a hand that was held out to him. His eyes trailed up the moist arm until he was looking in a pair of blue eyes.

It was Chris, he was dressed in only a pair of black pajama pants. Josh's eyes gazed over the water droplets that eased down Chris's revealed skin.

"Well, do you want to dance, or not?" He heard Chris ask.

Josh looked back into Chris' eyes and stuttered a bit. "I-I...Uh... sure, but I don't lead..." Josh took Chris' hand and stood to face the stunning male.

Josh could feel Chris' other hand be placed on his waist, pulling raven haired male closer. Josh's eyes widened as a dark blush spread throughout his face as he heard Chris whisper in his ear. "That'll do just fine."

A slight smirk formed on Chris' lips, noticing how embarrassed Josh is. He found it absolutely adorable, and he wanted to see it more often. Once he felt Josh's hand on his shoulder, began to start to step and sway slowly to the music. Chris let go of the hand to place it on the other side of Josh's waist.

Now they were as close as they could possibly get. Bare chest to bare chest as they were held in a dancing embrace. Josh looked Chris in the eyes as a slight shy smile formed on his lips. It wasn't like him to get like this, like a shy little boy. Maybe, he fell hard for his friend; maybe no matter how many times he tells himself that they're only friends, he still has hope that they'll be more.

As the song neared to an end, Chris decided to dip Josh down for a finish. As he did, he leaned down within the dip to see Josh face to face. Josh was surprised by the sudden move yet he still found humor in it. Everything went silent; they continued to look in each other's eyes.

Josh could feel his heart racing more and more. Chris lost himself in the moment and began to ease his face closer to Josh's until their lips were only inches apart. Their gaze never broke as Josh leaned in slightly, grazing his lips across the blonde's. Chris didnt hesitate to press his lips to the teasing pair, easing Josh back up from the dip.
