Reyna
I constantly worried about my sister, Hylla. Would she ever wake up? Would she forgive for what I did even if she somehow survived? Would she even remember me? What if she got amnesia? If anything bad happened to Hylla, I would never forgive myself.
It was early in the morning and since it was a weekend we didn't have to get up until 9:00, but I couldn't sleep. I was too worried about Hylla. The anxiety gripped me like a taut rope and immobilized my thoughts like arm cuffs restraint a person. Hylla had to be okay. I couldn't keep on living without her.
It was my fault Hylla was in the hospital and my dad was dead. If only I hadn't slept in. If I had woken up earlier, then the whole situation could have been avoided. Or I could have not let Hylla sleep in. I let her sleep in half an hour more the usual because we hadn't gotten home until midnight and we were exhausted. I figured she could use some extra sleep. That extra sleep that she got might have cost Hylla's life.
I don't know how long I spent looking at the ceiling above me and swimming in my tangled jumble of thoughts, but eventually Dr. Dionysus woke us up. He didn't use metal pots like usual and only called us brats once. Connor's dare might have warmed him up or maybe it was because his wife, Ariadne, visited last night after the Titans left.
The Titans had left me boiling with anger and feeling lower than low. They had called me a murderer and condemned me for patricide. They said that patricide was the worst crime ever and that I deserved to die. I still didn't know whether to believe them or not.
Breakfast was long and boring. I picked at my salad absent-mindedly and barely ate more than a bite of toast. There seemed no use for food anymore. Hylla was hurt because of me. My dad was dead because of me.
"Reyna," Chiron said. "Why aren't you eating?"
I shrugged and looked down at my food glumly. "I'm not hungry," I lied.
My stomach chose that point to point out my lie my tumbling loudly. Chiron raised one eyebrow. "Reyna," he said," we have some good news for you, but I need you to finish your breakfast."
I nodded and continued eating my food glumly. I hoped the seemingly good news wasn't another visit from the Titans-who Dr. Chiron claimed were banned- or some social worker trying to find me a place to stay. When I finished my food, I put it away and followed Dr. Chiron into a room I had never seen before.
The room was painted creamy pink and was covered in artwork made by children. The room was decked out with a beanbags and a couch. Sitting on top of the couch was my sister. An intense feeling of joy spread throughout my body. "Hylla!" I squealed.
I ran towards my sister and gave her a hug. I had never been happier to see her. I broke away from the hug after what felt like seconds or perhaps several days and gave her a sheepish smile. Then, I remembered what happened and I sobered up quickly. "I'm really sorry," I apologized. "It was my fault you were hurt; it's my fault put father is dead."
Hylla responded by encasing me with a big hug. "Reyna," she whispered."I'm fine. It's not your fault. Besides, we're better off now."
I stared at her incredulously. I was a killer and our father was dead. How was that better? Then, I saw her again and remembered how worried I was for her and my expression softened. "I love you, Hylla," I said. "I was so worried you wouldn't ever wake up or that you would die."
Hylla gave a smile. "I'm here now," she said. "I will be going through some physical therapy, but after that I want to create a new
company called Amazon."
I smiled and hugged my sister again. "I love you," she breathed. "You're my sister and I will always love you."
Dr. Chiron cleared his throat. "Sorry Hylla and Reyna," he said," but your visiting time is up for today. We hope you can visit again soon, Hylla."
Hylla gave a smile. "I will come again to see my sister, Super-Perfect Queen Reyna," she vowed.
We exchanged one more heartfelt hug before Hylla walked away. She waved at meand I grinned back and waved. A sense of contentment swept over me. My sister was fine. Hylla was alive.

"Festus and I have slept in every sewer in America," Leo said.
   "Really?" I said in surprise.
"It felt like it," Leo said.
"I've slept in one bathroom for over ten years," I said.
Leo took my hand gently. For once he looked serious instead of his usual joking demeanor. "I hope you never have to go through something like that again," he said.
"Same with you and Festus," I said. My throat felt stuffy and choked and my eyes teared. "You're a really good person when you're not annoying, Leo."
"Me, annoying?" Leo said in mock surprise.
I giggled softly. Then I turned pouted my lips and tried to look cross. "You're more annoying than Fonzies for breakfast," I said.
"Fonzies are good for you!" Leo exclaimed. "All the preservatives in them will make you immortal."
I rolled my eyes. "You're impossible," I groaned even though I felt elated.
"That's super McShizzle for you, sunshine," he said.
"Don't call me sunshine!" I pouted.
"I'm Toolbelt Master and I can call you sunshine if I want to," he joked.
   "Shut up," I muttered.
    "Make me," he teased.
I didn't know what I was thinking, but I followed my instincts. I leaned forward and kissed him. It was a slow, sweet kiss. When we parted, it was lingering and asking for more. Then, I realized what I had done in front if everyone and broke apart.
My cheeks were burning with a mixture of embarrassment and happiness. I was just afraid that Leo didn't like me. What if he didn't like the kiss? What if he pity kissed me? Piper had caught me up with dating and flirting with the normal world.
I looked around to see Percy and Jason giving each other high-fives. Annabeth was rolling her eyes. Piper and Hazel were smiling. Everyone else was a jumble of laughter, happiness, and annoyance. I looked at Leo. He gave me a broad grin. I dived in for a second kiss.
