Piper
I rubbed my tender neck. Jason looked at me with worry in his eyes. "Are you alright?" he asked.
I felt a flash of boiling hot anger that evaporated when I saw the haunted look in his eyes. "I thought that I lost you," he said. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you."
"Jason," I said slowly well trying to formulate something that would comfort him. "It's not your fault. I'm going through a lot of stress and honestly, you have helped me a lot. You really have made a difference in my life."
Jason gave me a smile. "You're a warrior Pipes," he said. "You're fighting your army that some cannot see and I know you can win."
"John Green and Patricia McDonald!" Dionysus said loudly. "Did you hear what Dr. Chiron was saying."
I looked at my shoes and Jason didn't answer. "We're going to your new school today," Dionysus announced. "You will be given a tour and classes will begin tomorrow. Now, follow me to the car!"

The school looks way too cool to be a school. For one, it's small and much cozier looking. A dark-haired woman wearing a pencil skirt paired with a black blouse and glasses smiles at us. "Hello, I'm Ms. Minerva," she says. "I will be the principal of this school and I wanted to give you guys a tour. You're not the only kids coming here. In fact, you're the last group to arrive."
Ms. Minerva shows us around the school, which still feels too edgy to be a school. It feels less like a prison than most of the boarding schools that I've gone through. Ms. Minerva shows us the cafeteria that looks more like a cafe. The library is filled with books, magazines, Nooks you can get check out, movies, and computers. Annabeth states at the comfy couches and the stacks of books. I know just what she'll spend a lot of her time doing.
Next, Ms. Minerva showed us a few classrooms before showing us the counselors' offices and introducing us to our counselors: Mr. Terminus and Grover, who gleefully explained he was employed here. Mr. Terminus kept on muttering on hoe the school should regulate haircuts and he told me a few times to tuck in my shirt. I knew who'd I would talk to if I ended up here.
Finally, Ms. Minerva showed us our dorms. I was glad to be with Jason. The room was not what I expected it to be. Ms. Minerva had explained the rooms would be designed specially for us (I assumed she meant that the rooms were designed for out mental health conditions). Jason and I shared a bunk bed. Ms. Minerva said that everyone's assignment for tomorrow was to design our rooms. She told us we were probably bored in the hospital-as if-and that we could use a day to unwind and let our imagination soar.
"Night, Jason," I said as he tuned off the lights.
"Night," he responded. "I hope tomorrow is alright. I'm scared of starting classes. What if the other kids don't like me?"
"Why wouldn't they?" I asked incredulously.
Jason sighed. "I was bullied in school a lot," he said.
"You're a good person," I said. "Piper definitely thinks so. You should just get to sleep. Tomorrow will be fine."
Jason said nothing, but I could tell he didn't get to sleep for a grumbling time. Neither did I. What if I got kicked out of this school? What would happen then?
