dear michael,

there's a lot going on at the moment with you being sick. you refuse to do any treatment and i don't understand why you don't want to get better, but i guess it is your life. you get to chose what happens to you, even if you can't chose what really happens.

i told you i wouldn't leave no matter how bad you got. you hold me tight against your chest every night, making sure i'm not going anywhere.

i feel bad to lie to you and tell you you're the only one when i'm secretly falling for your best friend. when you're gone i'll be going to luke, but not right away. cause i wouldn't be able to look at him right away and tell him it's just him and i now.

i'm so in love with you, michael. though if you were to have never returned i would have moved on to luke. now that you're back, i still love you and only you. no one could ever replace you.

not even luke.

Vienna holds Michael tightly against her chest, running her slim fingers through his thin hair. His skin was milky white and his eyes were dull. He wasn't like himself now that it has gotten worse. Michael refuses to participate in anything due to the pain. Vienna hated how she couldn't do anything to help him. She tried her hardest to distract him, but nothing ever worked.

Unless she sang to him.

Michael liked listening to her sing to him. Vienna would sing just about anything. She wasn't the greatest, but Michael didn't care. He only cared about how angelic her voice was when she sang.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey." Vienna placed a kiss onto his shoulder blade.

"You'll never know dear how much I love you." Michael felt a tear roll down his heated cheek.

"So please don't take my sunshine away." Vienna pulled Michael closer to her.

"The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping. I dreamed I held you in my arms." She gives him a tight squeeze, making Michael groan in pain.

"When I awoke dear, I was mistaken, and I hung my head and cried." Vienna whispered into the back of his neck.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey." Vienna sings, resting her head against his back.

"You'll never know dear how much I love you." Michael kissed the back of her hand, wiping away the fallen tears.

"So please don't take my sunshine away."
