dear michael,
you weren't an expert on poetry or how to actually use proper grammar in your writing, but you still tried your hardest.
i thought it was amusing when you used the wrong word or when you used the wrong pronunciation.
it's okay though. i mess up sometimes too.
you were an expert on pizza though.
i always knew who to go to when i wanted to find the best pizza place in town. you could have talked about pizza all day like it was someone you loved.
i guess you did love pizza as if it was your lover, but sadly it wasn't.
i was.
you talked about me all the time to our friends. they already knew everything about me, but there were little things you noticed about me that you wanted to share with them.
sometimes you kept those little things to yourself because you were the only one who wanted to know.
you didn't want others to know about my little birth mark on my inner thigh, or where my soft spot was on my collar bone.
i guess you liked how you were the only one who knew these things about me.
you knew exactly where to kiss me and where to touch me.
i know where your soft spots are and where you like being touched, but i hope that no one else can make you feel as good as i made you feel.
god i miss you.
do you miss me?

Vienna pushed the thick notebook off of the wooden desk, sighing when she heard the soft thump.
She wanted nothing more than to hear Michael's voice. To check her phone and see a missed call or text message from him, but she knew that wouldn't happen.
Michael wasn't going to try and contact her after leaving with everything he owned. He made sure that everything he owned was gone so that he wouldn't have to come back and retrieve it with the thought of running into her.
Vienna was curious as to why he would just up and leave like that when he knew she had trust issues and knew that she hated being alone. That was one reason she asked him to move in. She couldn't handle being alone, so she asked him not knowing if it would work out or not, but it did. Well that's what she thought.
Michael cares about Vienna and loves her, but there was something wrong with him that he kept a secret from her. He didn't want to tell her about his problem, and he sure as hell didn't want her to blame herself because she was part of his problem, but he couldn't let her know that.
He wanted her to find someone new, but she didn't want someone new.
Vienna wanted him and Michael wanted her, but he didn't want to break her heart anymore than he already had.

I don't know if I like this or not.
