V I E N N A

dear michael,

as i watch you sleep beside me every night and every morning, apart of me believes that you'll be alright, you'll be okay.

though you won't ever be okay.

i'll tell my future children about you, telling them that you're the only man that made me believe in love. you made me sane and made me the happiest anyone could ever be.

they may be upset that it wasn't their father who made me believe in love or make me as happy as you did, but they'll have to get over it and realize that things get taken away from them.

no matter how badly you want to keep it.

i'm going to miss you michael. i'll always miss you. even when i'm old and on my death bed. i'll think of you and my life will end with the fact that we will see each other again soon.

i love you more than i've ever loved anybody in my entire life.

never forget about us.

Michael finished reading the letters, feeling the warm salty tears run down his pale, cold skin. He watched the tears falling onto the notebook paper, running the pad of his thumb against the wet drops.

He's never felt so broken nor had he ever felt so much pain in his life.

Michael was falling into a depression that gets worse by the hour, but the thought of Vienna made him feel better.

Though with Michael knowing about Vienna falling for Luke, he couldn't help but think about their time together. Michael couldn't stop thinking if Vienna was using him and was always with Luke. He couldn't help to think if she's been with Luke ever since Michael left her.

Michael couldn't stop thinking.

Michael couldn't stop crying.

Vienna pressed her forehead against the wooden door, listening to his whimpers and quiet sobs.

She knew he had found the letters.

She knew he had read them all.

And she knew that he had read the one she regretted writing the most.
