Typically sunshine is what wakes everyone up in the morning and for my time away from home, I grew accustomed to earths natural sunrise but that was until my little family resided here with me. Now it doesn't matter if it was a rainy dark morning or a beautifully sunny day, Lalia made it her mission to awake everyone of her 'playmates'. "Wakey wakey, Daddy," she chimed as she crawled into my room and into my bed. God, I missed this. Seeing her every morning doing her little morning routine before she ran to cause mayhem, anywhere that has yet to meet her wrath. I grab her up onto my chest and pull the covers around as as we snuggle up in the bed, her head resting in my arm as she hugs my arm. "Mamas happy, Daddy. I'm happy too!" She whispers like an excited child as I cannot hide the happiness from my face. "Quick! Heisy will eat all my rice," she runs from my hug as she skips her way to our rating room, he hair bouncing on her back as the violet ribbon coordinated with her violet dress disappears from my vision. I get ready and make my way to my wife. I see her still in bed, sleeping so I decide to close the door and climb in beside her. She looks over her shoulder as I place my hand around our unborn child and smirks,"What would Kondo San say, hmm?" "He'd probably say we look really cute," I reply as I run my fingers through her loosely curled chestnut hair. She hums a melody as I curl up, wanting this memory to never end but nope, a three year old must interrupt  at all cost, it's her sworn duty. "Don't be lazy, cmon daddy!" She acts like Chizuru as she tries to scold me. "What about Mama, should she not come to?" I ask as I get up from the bed and crouch down in front of the toddler. "No, Mama get breakfast brought to her for baby's sleeping," she whispers with a finger on her lips. "Favouritism," I mutter as I take the hand of my born leader and we got get breakfast. Lalia was right, if she didn't hurry Harada, Shinpachi and Heisuke all would have eaten it. "Come here," Okita smirked as he held his two arms out for Lalia to run and jump in, a huge embrace to which she loved. She sat on his lap as she ate the most tiniest bowl of rice I have ever seen. Her little hands held the chopsticks better than Heisuke as he knew it himself as he marvelled over her 'talent'. "Any for me?" Chizuru asked as she stood at the door in a stunning teal dress with gold trim and shoes , her hair left down and curled. "Of course," Saito replied handing her her breakfast. We all ate, laughing at the stories we shared. It was true, Chizuru looked a lot happier as well as my daughter. "Come you and  help me," Chizuru extended a hand to our sighing daughter as the pair cleaned the dishes,Lalia being careful to not drop them as she held the white dish cloth over her hand as Chizuru handed them to her.
"Vice commander, it appears we have some trouble..."
