Arach Rai Haltia- Dragon Soul Elf
Arach Rai Haltia are a type if elves that have soulmates. They are born elves but as they grow older they look more like the race their soul mate is; dwarf, elf, human, etc. When they reach a certain age of maturity a dragon hatches that will share it's soul with an Arach Rai Haltia.
The Arach Rai Haltia share a soul with the dragon till one of them dies. Both living for several thousand years if fate permits it. If the dragon dies first then the elf will either die immediately or live any where between a minute or a year after. Hardly ever do they survive passed the year mark. If the Arach Rai Haltia dies first then the dragon will live on but at an immense cost; they will remain empty and cold until the end of their days.
When Sauron came into power he wanted to wipe out any threat to him. The Arach Rai Haltia and the Dragons are/were the strongest beings. So Sauron made a plan to wipe them out. All the elves either died or were taken captive. But not before they fought for their lives and took out quite a lot of Sauron's forces.
One elf, a female that looks looks like a dwarf but with the fairness of an elf, escapes Sauron with the help of a grey wizard. The female made a deal with the wizard, that if he shall need anything she will do it in return for saving her.
