"Gandalf what can you do about this deluge?" Dori asked. Gandalf looked back at him through the rain.
"It will continue to rain till the rain is done master Dori. If you wish to change it them you are going to have to get another wizard." Gandalf said and turned back around.
"Are there any?" Bilbo asked from next to Coalbi. She smiled and looked over at Gandalf.
"Are there any what?" Gandalf asked back.
"Any wizards." Bilbo answered.
"Yes, my dear Bilbo. There's five of us Istari. Sarumon is the top of our order, two blues, though I have quite forgotten their names." Gandalf said, getting sidetracked.
"What about the fifth?" Bilbo asked.
"Hmm, that would be Radaghast the brown." Gandalf answered.
"Is he a great wizard, or is he more like you?" Gandalf started grumbling at the question.
"He is a great wizard in his own way. He prefers the presence of animals over people." Gandalf said.
"Bilbo no more question on the Istari, okay?" Coalbi asked. Bilbo looked like he wanted to say more but one look silenced him.
"Coalbi, if you're a dwarf woman why don't you have a beard?" Ori asked, coming up on Coalbi's other side.
"Well now that is something I can't tell you. For I don't share information." Coalbi said, eyes flicking to Bofur in warning to keep his mouth shut. Ori caught the warning tone and dropped the subject.
After walking a few more hours the sky started to darken. The company started setting up camp next to a broken house. Coalbi didn't like the feeling the house gave her.
"I don't deem it wise to camp here tonight." Gandalf said to Thorin. Coalbi walked over to them.
"I agree with Gandalf. I don't like the feeling it gives me. Something is lerking that shouldn't." Coalbi said while looking around uneasily.
"We are staying here for the night," Thorin said. Gandalf walked off and out of camp.
"Thorin I really don't think staying here is the best idea." Coalbi tried to reason. Thorin ignored her and walked back towards camp.
"Thorin! Seriously, something's around here." Coalbi tried harder while walking next to him.
"We are staying here for the night," Thorin ordered. Coalbi sighed, she knew in some cases people won't listen.
"Fili, Kili, and Coalbi watch the ponies." Thorin sent them off a little ways into the forest.Coalbi sighed again and walked after the brothers. She couldn't stand being near the broken house. They sat on a log and watched the ponies. Kili started to get restless and opted to climbed a tree.
"Come on. The ponies are fine." Kili called down to Fili and Coalbi. Fili went up to join his brother.
"Coalbi get up here." Fili shouted down. Coalbi was in a bad mood because of Thorin and wanted nothing to do with their games.
"Fili, Kili stay here. I'm going to talk with Thorin." Coalbi said and walked back to camp. The trip was short and easy, but the closer she got to the house the bad feeling she got increased.
"Thorin. I need to talk with you." Thorin looked over at the angry female. Coalbi stood in front of his sitting figure with crossed arms.
"Talk about what?" He asked. Coalbi's expression said it all. "No." Thorin said after.
"Thorin there are some things you don't question. When a wizard is saying a place isn't safe, it isn't safe." Thorin glared at the orange haired female. Not even blinking Coalbi crouched down next to Thorin.
"We need to seek help from the elves." She said quietly. "I know you don't wish too but they can be helpful."
"Never will I seek help from an elf!" Thorin snarled in her face. Coalbi's face twisted into a look of pain, sadness, and anger.
"Elves aren't horrible creatures!" Coalbi tried to keep an even tone. Thorin was about to answer when Fili and Kili came running into camp yelling about trolls.
"Slow down lads! What is this about trolls?" Balin asked. Coalbi sent Thorin a side glare, stepping closer to the younger dwarves.
"Trolls! They stole some ponies and Bilbo went to get them back." Fili explained. Thorin walked over to his nephews, coming to stand just in front of Coalbi.
"We have to go after him," Coalbi demanded. Thorin nodded reluctantly, knowing they couldn't lose their burglar. The dwarves grabbed their weapons and followed Fili and Kili through the forest.
When they reached where the trolls were, they saw Bilbo being held by his arms. Before anyone could do anything Kili jumped out and threatened the trolls. The rest of the company followed him and started attacking the dwarves.
Coalbi smiled as she took out her Elvish blades. She has fought many trolls before and knew their heels were one of their weakest points."Drop your arms. Or we'll rip his off!" One of the trolls shouted.
The fighting stopped around them at the words. Coalbi hopped back into the group with her blades still brandished. She looked to Thorin from the Trolls for his verdict on the situation. The dwarf glanced at her and the others and contemplated what the troll said before sticking his sword in the dirt. Coalbi glared at the trolls and dropped her blades.
Coalbi was tyed up on a spit over a fire. Next to her was Bofur and above her was Ori. All of the dwarves were struggling and complaining. Coalbi smiled as she went over the fire.
"I'm sorry Miss Coalbi if you are uncomfortable." Ori said. Coalbi shook her head.
"Nah, it's okay. Its the trolls fault and Fili and Kili's." She said. Passing over the fire again, it blazed up and hit her in the face. The fire didn't change anything about her face and Bofur looked over at her.
"Coalbi yer hair is on fire." Bofur said. Coalbi glanced over her shoulder and saw a braid on fire.
"Bofur my hair naturally burns on the tips. It is nothing new." Coalbi informed him. Bofur looked confused but didn't question it while in the pressing situation.
"Hurry up! We ain't got all night. Dawn ain't far away." The fat troll complained.
"They need to be cooked with sage." The cook said. Bilbo stood up and hopped over to the trolls.
"You're going to need something stronger than sage to plate this lot. I mean have you smelt them?" Bilbo asked. Coalbi glared at Bilbo.
"Watch it Hobbit!" Coalbi shouted. Bilbo ignored her and continued.
"The secret to cooking dwarf is..." Bilbo thought for a moment.
"Well what is it?" The cook asked impatiently.
"Um the secret is... is to skin them first!" Bilbo blerted out. The dwarves started shouting at him.
"You stupid Hobbit! I don't fancy being skinned." Coalbi yelled.
"I've ate plenty of dwarves with their skin. Boots and all." The fat said and held Bombur over his mouth.
"Not that one! He's infected!" Bilbo shouted in panic. "He's got worms in his tubes. In fact all of then have parasites."
Coalbi sighed and kicked Bofur when he started complaining."He's making a diversion." She whispered. Thorin kicked Kili after figuring out for himself. The dwarves started saying they had the biggest parasites.
"Don't you see this ferret is trying to take us for fools!" The cook said. Bilbo's shoulders slumped.
"The dawn will take you all!" Coalbi heard Gandalf shout.
"Can we him too?" Asked the annoying troll. Gandalf hit his staff on the giant rock and broke it. Dawn streemed through it and turned the trolls to stone.
"Good, now could someone help us?" Coalbi asked.
