Jacob's POV

For the past 5-7 hours we've been trading back and forth. It's currently 7:59 a.m. Ethan and Lilly were sitting by the door, looking at the window. The rest of us were either sleeping or awake.

"Ethan?" I asked.

"Yeah" he replied.

"If you live by yourself, why are there 4 beds?" I asked.

"There used to be 4 of us total but when we found out that the military was after people that were different, they ran away leaving me by myself" he replied.

"Were they your family?" I asked.

"No just close friends of mine" he answered.

"It seemed like we were a family though, I guess not" he added.

"How were they different?" I asked.

"They said that they could see the future" he answered.

"That's how they knew about the military" I said.

"Yup they didn't even bother telling me, they just left" he replied.

"I'm sorry" I said.

"It's ok" he replied.

"I'm sorry about your family" he added.

I looked at him confused.

"I heard your conversation with Matthew" he said.

"I think he's right, Trevor and you must have something special I mean he broke the glass just to be with you none of us could do that" he added.

I smiled.

"Wanna try it?" he asked.

"Holding hands?" I asked.

"Yeah" he answered.

"Sure" I replied.

I got up and walked over to him. He held out his hand. We couldn't link fingers.

"I was right, Trevor and you do have something special" he said.

I smiled then walked back to my bed.

"I'm gonna get something to eat" Alison said.

"Anyone wanna come with me?" she asked.

"I went last time" I said.

"I'll go" Matthew said.

7 minutes later they came back.

"Alison can we trade?" Ethan asked.

"Sure" she answered.

"Thanks" he said then went to go lay down.

"Alison?" Lilly asked.

"Yeah" she replied.

"Do you really think that we need 2 people to get food?" she asked.

"I mean I know that the military is after  us but the food's downstairs" she added.

"I know, just thought it'd be safer than way" Alison replied.

"I guess it is safer" Lilly said.

"Anyone hungry?" Lilly asked.

"Me" Matthew and I said at the same time.

She gave us each a granola bar. Lilly turned on the tv. Being different is dangerous flashed on the tv screen. She changed the channel over and over again trying to find something to watch. Something caught my eye.
