Chapter 9

Trevor's POV

Alison and Ethan went outside. After a few minutes they came back. There were 6 guards standing behind them.

"If you try to escape we'll kill you" one of the guards said.

Once we were outside Caitlin tried to escape then one of the guards shot her. Rebecca ran over to her after a few minutes she died. Since they were distracted Emma and Matthew ran the opposite direction to get away. 2 guards ran after them. The other 4 guards took the rest of us back to the prison. Since we all escaped they hurt us. I woke up breathing heavily.

"Trevor are you ok?" Jacob asked.

"Yeah, just had a nightmare" I replied.

"Sorry I woke you up" I added.

"It's ok" he replied.

I got out of bed. Jacob fell asleep again. I was hungry so I decided to grab something to eat.

"Did you already tell him?" Emma asked.

"No, not yet" I replied.

"Oh, I just thought that's why he slept with you" she said.

"No I asked him to stay with me until I fell asleep, I guess he was really tired and fell asleep too" I replied.

"I think you should tell him today" she said.

"Fine" I replied.

"Why don't you want to tell him yet?" she asked.

"I don't know" I replied.

"I mean it's obvious that he likes you" she said.

"It's true, ever since we escaped he couldn't stop talking about you" Matthew replied.

"Really?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Well I can't tell him now, he's asleep" I said.

"Then tell him when he wakes up" Matthew said.

"Alright" I replied.

"Who's place is this?" Emma asked.

"Jacob's" he replied.

We continued talking for a while. After I finished eating I laid down next to Jacob. 35 minutes later he woke up.

"Trevor?" he asked.

"Yeah" I replied.

"Oh, I just wanted to see if you were awake" he said.

I nodded. He got out of bed.

"I'm gonna go out for a while" he replied.

Emma looked at me.

"Can I go with you?" I asked.

"Sure, let's go" he replied.

We walked around for a while.

"Can I tell you something?" he asked.

"Sure" I replied.

"I-I like you, m-more than just a f-friend" he said.

I smiled.

"I like you too" I replied.

He smiled.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" I asked.

"Of course" he replied.

I leaned in to kiss him. He did the same. Our kiss was gentle and sweet. We slowly broke apart.

"Wanna go back inside now?" I asked.

"Sure" he replied.

He linked our fingers together. When we got back Emma was the first to notice that we were holding hands.

"Yay!" she said.

"Finally" Ethan said.

Jacob rolled his eyes. Everyone was really happy that we were dating. I looked at Emma. She looked like she was about to pass out from the lack of sleep.

"How long has it been since you slept?" I asked.

"An hour and a half I think" she replied.

"I can take your spot so you can get some rest if you want" I offered.

"No it's fine, I'm not even tired" she replied before yawning.

I chuckled softly.

"Get some rest" I said.

She nodded then walked over to her bed. I sat down. After a few minutes Ethan got up and Jacob sat down.

"Hey" he said.

"Hey" I replied.

"Do you always have nightmares?" he asked.

I looked at him confused.

"Earlier today you woke up from a nightmare so I was just wondering" he added.

"Yeah I've been started to have them for a few days now" I replied.

"I'm sorry" he said.

"It's ok, it's not your fault" I replied.

2 hours later

Caitlin and Rebecca offered to take our place. Jacob and I decided to lay down for a while.

"How long have you guys been living here?" I asked.

"A week or 2" he replied.

I nodded.

"How long have you been living here?" I asked.

"A few years" he replied.

We continued talking. After 2 hours of talking we knew everything about each other.
