Chapter 0 - Roxas Part I

A/N: Okay this is the last pre-chapter before the actual story starts! I tried to make it one but I figured you would rather have half of one after a month of silence... Haha. But that means your adventure is coming soon and I really hope you guys like it. I have lots of plans in store and twists and stuff, so I'll be excited to see your reactions. Like always, make sure you read the previous chapters (Zexion, Axel, Demyx) so you know what's going on. Those chapters are NOT results, but all canon (for this story).

The plot is very similar to 358/2 Days, but there are changed based on this story so please read the whole thing! Also [X-Name] is your name but with an X in it, so just kind of like... make it up haha. If you want me to make one for you, you can comment with your name and I'll do my best!

There are diary entries because in 358/2 days Roxas keeps a diary and when you finish the game, you can read the "secret" ones from the other members. That's sort of how I'll give their thoughts without having to make a whole separate section for them.

Zexion can identify people's "scents" and tell who people are. He does this in CoM: Riku's story if you haven't played that.

RTC means "Return to Castle" by the way =)

SPOILERS FOR 358/2 DAYS AHEAD.

EDIT: So Xion is still a thing... "You" are taking the place of her in the beginning but she is still a thing because your stories aren't exactly the same if that makes sense. Also 15 is my favorite number so it just works out =P

Day 245

You were sitting alone on the clock tower, swinging your feet and looking out onto the horizon.

"You're early."

You looked up and saw Roxas standing at the corner entrance.

You smiled. "No, you're just late."

He returned the smile and sat next to you, handing you a sea-salt ice cream. He started eating it in silence as you still looked at the sun.

"Today is 245."

"Hmm?" He hummed, mouth full of ice cream.

"Since I joined the Organization. Since I smiled at you." You smiled at him now, noticing how different it was then. You weren't even a person then, really. And now...

"I'm glad you can keep smiling at me, [X-Name]."

"I am too, Roxas." You watched him eat his ice cream as you took small bites of yours. I have to tell him...

"What's wrong, [X-Name]?"

You snapped out of your thoughts. "What? Nothing."

He frowned. "Don't lie to me, please..."

"I-I-" you stuttered. I can't tell him the truth... He'll never forgive me and Xemnas-he'll kill me.

He sighed. "Never mind. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He took your hand and brought it gently to his lips. "I just hate seeing you worried."

You smiled at him sadly, trying to savor this moment. "I'm not worried silly... I can't be worried. Neither of us can." Even though what you were saying was a lie.
