Opening up my chest a little with a yawn I look over to see the time reading 11:30 AM. My sleeping schedule is always a bit off but it really doesn't make much of a difference. I can't go to school, Dad thinks it's too risky and too soon. Usually any other sixteen year old girl would be in high school at the moment, but not me. Not while I'm in this family anyway. That's not the point though, I was getting at the fact that I don't have anywhere to go so there's no set time I have to be up by. Also I'm defiantly a night person so I tend to just eventually pass out sometime during the day when I finally run out of energy.

Pushing my body from the bed I make my way over towards my dresser searching for a decent outfit. Putting on a fresh pair of undergarments I layer a black sports bra over top and slip on the matching pair of black Nike Pro shorts. After getting decently dressed I throw on a pair of socks and my black and white Nike running sneakers. After dressed I grab the latest iPhone off of my dresser and plug my earbuds in so I can block out the sounds that surround me.

Exiting my house that lies empty I'm guessing my parents are up the trail at my grandparents house. Esme and Carlisle are my grandparents, but if I'm explaining to anyone other then family I just use their names, due to their young appearance people would get suspicious. However there isn't many times where I need to explain things to anyone since I barely leave the woods. My parents take trips that I attend sometimes and Nessie invites me over to the other side with Seth sometimes but I'm not dumb enough to third wheel with them. Playing the playlist on shuffle that's logged into my phone I begin my run exploring everything and anything about the forest around me. I've always loved nature and animals. That sounds very hypocritical considering I drink thier blood from time to time but I try to balance it out by being vegan when eating human food. Probably doesn't make much of a difference, but it helps with my self conscious a little bit.

As the trees pass all around me I decide on taking a path I haven't yet used. Somewhere usually off limits to us, but what's a little risk? Dodging in between the trees and keeping balance as I leap above overgrown tree roots and massive fallen branches I find myself at a larger body of water. A flow of fresh and untouched looking water streams downward dividing the territorial line. Of coarse I've been told to know my limits and not push the stakes but it's getting boring. The same routine day after day of staying on our land and playing by our rules, I should be able to explore for myself. All these boundaries and borders are driving me inside, it's not like I'm trying to flee the country or anything.

Yanno what, Nessie's over there all the time, it's no big deal right? I'm gonna take my chances on this one. Bring a little excitement into my everyday routine for once. Uniting my shoe laces I kick them off and to the side resting of a tree stump along with my socks and phone. At first I throw a rock down testing the waters depth below. With a plop the hard object seems to sink for a good amount of time making me more secure about jumping in. Adrenaline pumping through my vain's I take a running start feeling the damp forest flooring escape from under my feet as I step away from the ground and jump through the air, towards the water. Plummeting downwards I let out a small scream of excitement while my body momentarily flies freely through the air.

With a splash I land securely into the stream of water which actually is colder them I had expected, even for Forks where to sun nearly ever shines. Surfacing I take in a loud gasp of oxygen filling my lungs with the crisp air that surrounds me. It's typical for some to complain about the water temperature, but I kind of like it, makes me feel peaceful and helps clear my mind.

Cascading the water through my hair I freeze immediately as I hear a few sticks crack signaling that someone is there. Shit. My heart rate quickens as I frantically look around for the source of sound. Maybe it's just a deer or something? But of coarse it's not, just with my luck really. "Leach." I hear someone hiss as I totally turn 180 degrees to the other territory. Without saying anything I narrow my eyes at the girl that totally reeks of wet dog smell. As the girl goes to the edge of the stream she begins to growl still in human form. Scoffing, I really don't fear her since I've been told about her before. Plus, what is she gonna do? Her brothers Seth and I doubt she'd kill me is she knew I'm Nessie's sister. Yea, didn't think so. "Calm down dog." I groan at her annoyed. She has no idea who I am, does she? As she stops being all pissy her facial expression goes from defensive to confused seeing I'm not the least bit scared. Combing my fingers through my hair still enjoying the fresh water stream I hear and smell others fallowing after the girls trail. Once the other dogs are within distance I hear one (probably their alpha) shout towards me. "Your on Quillet territory!" He yells in a voice that would probably make anyone else intimidated. But not me, I have to deal with Emmett's anger issues every time he loses a game. Nothing scares me anymore.

Growing annoyed with the pack of dogs barking orders at me I roll my eyes and turn around to face them. Seeing Seth I take this as my opportunity to annoy the rest of them by waving at him like nothing else is going on. "Hey Seth!" I yell over to him as he smiles widely and waves back causing his pack to form confused facial expressions towards us. "Who is she?" The older looking one who yelled at me earlier asks Seth clearly seeing that I wasn't gonna easily just explain to him who I was. What's the fun in that? "That's Nessie's sister." His cheeky self says as calm as ever while his sister looks as is she's going to explode at any second before she storms off over dramatically.

Another one of the pack members descend from the forest running down to his leader confused. "I got here as soon as I could, what happened?" He asks before fallowing the others gaze towards me. But while I expected him to get all defensive about territory like the others and start growling like a mutt, he didn't do any of that. Just stood with a blank stare my way. Furrowing my eyebrows together I look over to Seth for some sort of explanation as he looks at the guy with a look of disbelief. Weirdo's.

Deciding I've had enough dog for one day I quickly zoom over to the tree stump getting my shoes on and grabbing my phone. "Bye Seth!" I yell over the stream as he reverts his eyes from the weird stating guy to me again. "Uhm-" Swallowing hard he snaps out of thinking about probably whatever's wrong with his friend and shouts a quick "see you later" back before I race myself back home.

Maybe I should explain further into my back story. Once the Volturi came to meet Nessie and I when we were younger they understood my sisters situation quite easily. But not so much mine, I'm a totally different issue of my own. Since Aunt Alice saw that Nessie wouldn't be an issue to society they didn't give a second thought to her, leaving it up to Seth to protect her. But me on the other hand didn't get off the hook that easily. At first Aro was determined to kill me, but my lack of fear caused him to question his decision. That and the gift I compose kept me alive, but under quite a few circumstances.

One being that I have to only use my gift for good, don't take advantage of it. That is unless I join the Volturi and help them with whatever they please. Then I'm sure they wouldn't care what I did with my power, but I for one don't plan on moving to Italy any time soon. Another rule they set is that until I can fully control myself I am to be kept away from the public eye. Which is quite annoying. And for added safety procauters my parents try and keep me away from the dogs so I don't add any fuel to the fire that has already sparked with Nessie and Seth.

Basically that all explains why they had no idea who I was, and why Carlisle is so strict about me staying on our territory. I mean yes, they know Nessie has a twin but that was the first time I've seen any of them since the Volturi came when we were only very little. And even then only the alpha and Seth's sister came to protect us. Everyone else was either caught up with their own ego issues or whatever problem that Jacob kid was dragging them into.
