My hair is curled loosely and I'm dressed casually in a pair of high waisted black skinny jeans, white crop top and white high top converse. Humming 'Clair De Lune' to myself I finish swiping my mascara onto my lashes enhancing their length. I have pretty nice eyebrows and pore less, smooth skin so I end up with only mascara and a natural shade of Mac lipstick on; the usual.

However what's on my mind the most is not my outfit.

It's Jacob.

He actually should be here any minute now. Apparently he got my number from Seth a few days ago, or at least that's what he told me once I asked who was texting me from an unrecognizable number sometime early last week.

I'm not making a big deal out of hanging out with him today, only Nessie knows and that's because somehow Seth found out. I'm guessing she hasn't thought much of it due to dad's lack of questioning, which I am thankful for. At the moment it makes me feel like somewhat of a normal teenager. On other aspects of the situation it's the total opposite, but hey, I'm thinking of the positives for once.

I mean, I honestly know close to nothing about him. What I do know are just past negativities having to do with my mom and the treaty, but he doesn't seem that bad at all.

And I'm not just a horny, dumbfounded teenage girl either. I've been around a few guys before, outside of my family that is... Jake just seems different to me. For sure much more appealing then the other which include Alec from the Volturi and another vampire from the Amazon by the name of Jackson. Neither of them make me feel the way Jacob had the past week. Smiling at texts, never leaving my mind... He's a good different.

I'm sure everything claims that its just the whole imprint process taking place, but even if that is true (which I doubt) I have no problem with it.

My enhanced hearing comes in handy as I look out of my window too see Jacob descending from the woods and onto the path to my house. Luckily nobody is home, mom and dad took a weekend to themselves somewhere in New York while Nessie is probably out somewhere with Seth no doubt.

In the matter of seconds I reach my front door before Jacob and open it. 'Woah, calm down Cas.' I mentally note to myself as Jacob's heads tilts up from his previous state at the ground to see the opened door. "Hey beautiful." He immediately compliments as if he didn't even have to look at what I look like mean it. The grin on his face causes me to do the same. Well this is a bit straight forward, but I like it. No awkward beginning.

"Ready?" He asks me with a helmet in his right hand while he holds it out for me. Glancing between him and his motorcycles for a second a bit nervous I decide on sucking up my over thinking and let out a small breath before nodding with a smirk. "Guess so..."

Once I grabbed my navy green bomber jacket and threw it over top my crop top I take the helmet from Jacob's hands as he hand's it over. Should I start calling him Jake? Feels like Jacob sounds so formal... Whatever.

Looking up at him from my smaller height of 5'4 he smirks downwards at me. "Nervous?" Jesus why are his words so sexual; asdfghjkl. Unintentionally biting my lip out of habit I shrug my shoulder last as we near his bike. "Think I can handle it." I press as he gets on and I swing my leg behind him strapping the helmet onto me. Guess there's a first time for everything, right?

The bikes constant glide through the nearly empty streets of Washington are so adrenaline pumping, yet peaceful at the same time. Adoring the shore line view as we coast down the boardwalk road he bike begins to slow. The silence between us was comfortable and really unchangeable throughout the ride due to the wind blowing in our ears causing our inability to hear.

As Jake's foot catches the bike's balance at a full stop I get off first seeing the beach lay in front of us. Unstrapping the helmet from underneath my chin I desperately attempt to fix my hair a bit while Jacob also stars off of his bike. Seeing my house lies in the middle of the woods I really never have the opportunity to watch the sunset, especially not from the beach.

"If you don't like it the idea was Seth's." Jacob mumbles while his arm reaches behind him to scratch the back of his neck nervously. I let out a small laugh under my breath at his uncertainty before tuning to him. "No this is amazing, I love the sunset." My reassurance gives him confidence as we side by side walk down the beach. "Well this was totally all my idea then." He jokes as I playfully give him a small nudge laughing lightly.
