Jake's POV"Cassidy your such a complete bitch sometimes!" I hear Renesmee's voice yell running up the stairs as I enter the Cullen's. Judging by the facial expressions all around it seems to be a stupid argument between the two, but that doesn't make me any less curious.
Making my way into the living room Seth appears next to me giving me a slight nudge with a smug look. "Welcome to the family." He smirks a little as I let out a small laugh towards the teenage chaos I just walk in on. All of the sudden a phone is dropped from the second story stair case causing me to look up seeing Cassidy having purposely thrown what looks to be her sisters phone onto the floor.
Oh that's definitely broken.
"What the hell!" Bella asks charging through Seth and I to see her daughters having had destroyed each others phones. "Fuck you!" Nessie yells back at my imprint, now making me a bit protective over her while Seth seems to feel the same.
"Cas was showing me embarrassing and pictures of Nessie which pissed her off and so she threw Cassidy phone." Seth tells us all seeing why now Cas just threw her sisters phone to the ground in some sort of revenge. Cute.
"Renesmee aren't you supposed to be going to the beach with Seth or something?" Bella questions getting a nod in response as her daughter rush's out of the house faster then the human eye can see.
Absorbed into watching Cassidy upstairs I barely notice Seth even leave my side to go off with the imprint of his own. "I'm going to hunt, tell Cas that there's food in the fridge." Bella says as I then see how dark her eyes have gotten making me nod as Emmett and Rose leave with her.
"No funny business wolf boy!" Emmet shouts into the house just before closing the door behind him. Shaking off his comment I look back at the upstairs banister where Cassidy once was only to see an empty space.
Weird. I haven't known her long, yet I'm positive she isn't one to hide from me.
Making my way up the stairs, hand skimming the railing I fallow the soft sound of calming music leading into her bedroom. "Cas?" I ask slightly pushing on her cracked open door. The sound of her small voice allowing me entrance just pulls me in even quicker. Looking over to her bed she lays drawing something into her journal. Her brown hair cascades over her shoulders of pale skin. Still it's hard to wrap my mind around how the universe blessed me with such a breathtaking imprint.
It's as if everything about her is so fragile and delicate to the touch, but her personality has so much depth and shows no sign of flaw. Her head tilts up from whatever it is she's writing down into a notebook causing me to notice how creepy I probably look just staring and smirking at her.
"Whatcha writing?" I ask curiously moving closer to her bed as she lightly shrugs causing a few strands of hair to fall infront of her face. "Song names." She simply states as my eyebrows furrow together in confusion. "Hanging out with you I've noticed your music taste only really consists of the ego boosting current day pop, so I'm making a list of songs I want you to listen too." She explains without yet looking back up from her list.
Now usually I'd complain, but it's too hard to protest something she's doing just for me. I'd never.

Cassidy's POV
"What's wrong?" Jake asks as I stare off into a subconscious cloud of nothingness. Shaking myself out of it I look back at him as he attempts to cook whatever it is that Esme bought when she went food shopping. "Nothing just thinking." But being Jake, that's not a good enough answer. Something I could have easily seen coming.
"You seem anxious." He admits as I do a quick self assessment seeing I can come off as a little on edge. Sighing I relax my shoulder a bit and rest my head in my hands while grabbing a piece of dried mango to eat. Chewing onto the slice of sweet tasting fruit my mind wonders on again.
Lately everything's been blissful, all going well and little to no chaos. Mom and Dad are easing up on me a little, Rose and I went shopping the other day and Jacob is everything I could ever ask for, but it just feels like somethings coming.
And not the sort of surprise party anticipation either, it's something dark.
I get I'm no banshee and I can't predict the future like Aunt Alice, but I can still have an input on things. If I have a bad feeling I have a bad feeling, like any "normal" human would. That not saying I'm normal, or even human for that matter- but you get the idea.
Of corse I'm not gonna tell anyone, what am I an idiot? My parents are already strict on me, and Jake worries over just about everything so that would just be stupid to higher they're anxieties. Plus there's no proof anyway, if anything is gonna happen we just have to hope Alice sees it before it gets here.
"Here." Jake says passing his phone towards me as I give him a confused look. Looking at the screen I read the printed text under Paul's contact name.
Paul;
im having a party for rachel this saturday at my house for her birthday, come, it's gonna be crazyPaul; ( one new message )
the reservation isn't ready for this 😏Smirking a little I fallow my gaze back up to Jake pushing his phone back towards him. "Wanna go?" He asks hopeful. This is good, I'll be a teenager for once and take my mind off of things. Nodding a reply "Obviously." with a little laugh after causing Jacob to smirk back showing off more of his perfect features that look as if his entire being has been molded by God himself.
I probably have just been being paranoid, I need to forget about the self doubt and live my life for once.
