"Cassidy." Carlisle says in a somewhat concerned voice as I give him a confused look. It's a usual rainy day in Forks, what's wrong? As my body is relaxed into his leather black couch I reply in a questionable tone. "That's my name." I explain my sarcasm seeping through as he seems to be scanning my body for any source of injury. Does he smell blood or something? "You crossed the border." He explains his source of knowledge as I sit up now a little straighter and nod. "Yea." My voice lets out a bit weaker then usual as he lets out a small sigh. Obviously a sign of slight annoyance because he has no use for actually breathing. Then my brain grows a bit confused on its own as I look back up at him from the TV I was previously watching. "Wait, How did you find out?" I ask back towards him as he arches his brow wisely at me with a knowing sense in his eyes. "Seth told Renesmee." He explains as I sigh knowing that if Nessie knows, dad soon will too.

"Here, I brought you this." He explains extending the coffee cup with the Starbucks logo on the side. "Pumpkin sp-" I'm cut off by my grandparents reply. "Grande pumpkin spice latte, no whip cream and soy milk." He recites my order as I smile at the correct statement taking the cup into my hands. "Thanks." My voice says in a soft yet genuine tone. He nods and heads up the stairs, probably to change out of his work clothes for the day.

It's the usual weather here in Forks, nothing too exciting. The Addams Family,  one of my all time favorite movies, plays on the TV as I sip at my drink. Pounding footsteps as always cues that Emmett is entering the room. "Not this again." He groans plopping down onto the couch next to me. I let out a small laugh at his annoyance. Even though he complains it doesn't stop me from watching the movie. I love Uncle Emmett and all, but he complains about everything.

Mid way through my movie my parents show up causing me to jump a little at their sudden appearance. "Woah, hey." I explain with a quizzical expression towards their blank faces. "You crossed the treaty." Mom says with a stern tone. Why does everyone say that like it's the end of the world? Choosing to stay quiet they know it's the truth and if I were to speak up now I'd probably say so thing sarcastic to land me in more trouble. "I got bored." I say easily after a few awkward moments of tension filled silence. "Listen I don't know why you've been testing the boundaries so much lately but it needs to stop." She says clearly annoyed at my behavior. But who can blame me? "It's not fair I've been trapped here for sixteen years of my life almost. And when we do go out I'm forced to stay with you. I can handle myself." I explain as my anger and frustration seeps through my tone just a bit. Looking at each other they then look back to me, Dad being the one to speak up. "Come with me."

Walking around the woods for privacy I fallow in my fathers trail not saying much of anything at first. "You know we're only doing thing to keep you safe." He says after about ten minutes of background noise. Rolling my eyes I step over a knocked down tree right behind him. "Or so you say." Looking back at me his eyes show a bit of sympathy towards my situation. "Cassidy we just don't want to see you get hurt. It's bad enough that I can't hear what your thinking and just adding that to the fact that Alice has never had a vision about you." He stops for a moment before going on. "We didn't even know we were having you for the longest time." He lets out as I listen onto what he's saying. Letting a small sigh of defeat out I let him go on until he's finished. "I get that, I was there too what the Volturi came. And every time they come check on us they never find anything wrong so I think you need to loosen up a little." I explain as I can feel his eyes on me during my explanation but I keep facing forwards.

"I can handle myself. I'm not your baby anymore. I don't need to be this sheltered twenty-four seven." I admit as we make our way back up the driveway. Talking to Dad is always a hell of a lot easier then mom. She's very quick to accuse and yells more. That is while I've only herd dad yell maybe twice in my existence and he has a very mello vibe that he gives off. Maybe that's why we're closer then mom and I are. I have more of her genetics though, so I say it's fair game. Plus Nessie is the exact opposite, being moms little girl but looking more like dad. Weird how this all turned out really. "I know." Dad says making me look back at him for a moment giving him a small smile before entering now our house.
