A/N: I hate the outfit she's wearing in the video but it does look pretty comfy.

Riley's POV

The next morning.

"Wake up!"

My eyes bolt open and I gasp as my dad jumps down on the bed next to me.

"Wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up!" He yells, bouncing on his knees, making the bed shake.

My eyes widen, "What the Hell, Dad?!" I exclaim before looking at the clock on my wall, "It's six in the morning, I don't need to be up for another half hour!"

"I know, but I need to tell you something!"

"Mom, how many cups of coffee has Dad had?!" I call.

"Don't bother your mother. I need to tell you something!" Dad exclaims.

"Can't it wait?!"

"Nooooo!"

"You're so loud!"

"I know!"

"Dad!" I whine.

"Riley!" He whines in return. He finally gets off my bed.

I huff, "Fine. What is it?"

Dad suddenly smirks, "The school just called. It's a snow day. No school."

All I can do is give him my best 'Are you fucking kidding me?!' look.

"Consider this revenge for scaring me to death last night. You can go back to sleep now."

Dad flings my door open and smiles.

"Oh, Maaaaax!" He sings before walking out and shutting the door behind him.

A couple hours later.

I'm eating breakfast in the dining room when Max walks in.

"Your dad is fuckin' weird, man." She says.

My dad then walks out of the kitchen with a mug of coffee in hand.

"Thank you." He says to Max before sipping his coffee.

Max just stares at him, "So, what, do you just...see and hear everything?"

"Riley's obviously never told you the story of how I found out she's a lesbian."

"He's everywhere." I say.

"Yup. It is both a blessing...and a curse." Dad says, dramatically.

"Yeah, well, let's just say that his super-dad sense of hearing is a trait of his I'm very glad I did not inherit." I say.

"Oh, and why's that?" Dad teases.

"Mom is pregnant and your bedroom is right next to mine; do I really need to elaborate?"

Max bursts out laughing.

"Hey." My dad says, pointing to me, his finger barely touching my nose, "Shut up."

I raise an eyebrow, "Really? That's your line of defense?"

He brings his hand down and narrows his eyes at me, "You win this round, child." He says before throwing his fist in the air, "But I shall have my revenge!"

"You always do." I deadpan.

"Just so I can know in advance, will this 'revenge having' involve interrupting my sleep?" Max asks.
