Chris' POV
"We've just called to tell you we'll be reopening Riley's kidnapping case."
My stomach falls.
"What why?"
"That's classified information, sir. It's nothing to be too concerned about; we'll just be investing further. Though we may bring Riley in for questioning."

The next day
Riley's POV
Emily walks up to Max and I at school, smiling.
"Hey! I officially am waitressing at Black Bird!" She says.
"That's awesome." Max says.
"Congrats." I say.
Jack walks up to us, looking upset.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Emily asks.
Jack pauses, then speaks.
"My parents got a call last night...They're reopening Phoebe's murder case."

"What?" Max asks.
