At the next day of school I didn't see Jenny at all. I thought she was at the library so I decided to check it out. However she wasn't there either. She was probably hiding from me after what happened yesterday. That is probably what I would be doing, because I would feel bad for what I did.
After deciding to give up looking for her, I walked to our group spot near the oak tree where I met Angela, Sarah, Alice and Natalie. But no Jenny... Obviously none of them have seen Jenny yet because as soon as I cane they ran up to me and drowned me with questions.
"OMG! OMG! Have you seen Jenny yet? She isn't here yet and she's usually here by now!" Angie exclaimed.
"I'm worried sick! What if she's been kidnapped?" Alice questioned.
"Maybe even dead!!!" Sarah's face went pale after saying this.
"What if! What if!" Natalie started. "What if she's being tortured and they are kicking her and hitting her and beating her ready to kill her!!! But the people could be also-"
"STOP!" I had had enough. "All of you! Where are you getting all these ideas from? Just calm down. None of these are happening to her. I'll go look for her right now."
All their faces calmed down as I rolled my eyes and left to look for Jenny. I imagined what she would be doing if she was upset at someone else who wasn't me...
She would be telling me what was bothering her and I would give her some help. If the situation was really bad and she started crying I would give her hugs and comfort her. I would know when she was sad because she would text me to meet her at the bench. Wait. The bench... The bench! That is probably where Jenny was right now!
I zoomed to the bench and sure enough there she was. Sitting alone on her phone but not moving any of her fingers. She must be looking at something on her phone. I ran to sit next to Jenny and she got so surprised she jumped from her seat.
"Hey..."
Jenny stared down glumly.
"Jenny, are you ok?" I asked.
"Look, I don't fell like talking with you right now!" Jenny exclaimed.
"But why are you avoiding me?"
"I'm sorry about last night. Can you forgive me?"
I said nothing.
"Fine I'll take that as a no."
"Wait! Jenny!"And with that Jenny left... Was our friendship over?
