"What? Who's this friend, Nash?" She asks and I roll my eyes because she's not going to make this easy.

"He's just kind of taken me under his wing, he owns a huge corporation and he knows that I want to major in business." I reply vaguely, I'm not ready to tell them about my relationship with Cameron.

"Did he give you cash?" She asks and I wonder why that's even a question.

"Yes," I tell her because it's the same thing as cash, it's just in a bank account.

"I just wanted to make certain before I cancel my overtime." She says and I guess it makes sense. "Well, tell him thank you from me. I have to go now, Sky is crying. I'll see you when you get back."

She doesn't wait for me to reply before she hangs up the call and I stare at my phone, she didn't even seem that grateful. Cameron absolutely doesn't have to help my parents out and her reaction was not what I was expecting at all. It wouldn't kill her to show a little bit more gratitude towards him.

I pick up the papers that came with the card and my eyes bulge out when I see how much money Cameron put in the account.

What the fuck is an 18 year old going to do with 1 million dollars? I feel nervous all of a sudden because never in my dreams had I imagined Cameron would put that much money in the account. I assumed it was just a few thousand to help my parents catch up.

I could buy us a house. We live in a trailer park right now and the landlord is more a slumlord because he never fixes anything. My parents apparently won't question me so hard about the money and it's not like I would buy something too big, it has to be manageable within my parents budget. A small home that would have the same utilities as the trailer with the added bonus of not having to pay rent or a mortgage would suit us well.

I open the laptop and begin to browse through for sale houses in my small town and I find some potential homes that I bookmark.

This is something I have to speak my parents about face to face, hopefully they show more gratitude than my mom showed today but maybe she was just tired.

When Cameron returns he looks pissed off and Aaron follows in behind him with a guilty expression.

"I should fucking fire you on the spot, Aaron." He rages as soon as Aaron closes the door behind them. "Why the fuck would you sign an agreement to settle without passing it by me first?! And why didn't you tell me before we walked into that fucking meeting?!"

"You said you hired me to make decisions for the business so... that's what I did Cameron. I'm sorry, I thought you'd want things to be resolved quickly." He answers softly and I watch them with wide eyes because this is the most upset I've seen Cameron.

"I don't give easy outs, Aaron. This is the only time you're going to make a mistake like that because next time you're fired." Cameron growls at him and he's so sexy when he's angry. His jaw is clenched and he has the most amazing jawline, his muscles are tensed and bulged out, I want to jump him and maybe have some office sex.

"Get the fuck out," he says and Aaron leaves immediately, he probably doesn't want to hear more of Cameron's anger.

Cameron runs a hand through his hair as he lets out a stressed sigh. He presses a button on his desk.

"Presca, cancel my meetings for the rest of the day. I'm leaving." He says shortly and I feel unsure of what I can do for Cameron.

"Come on, baby. Let's get the fuck out." Cameron's tone changes when he addresses me and it doesn't take me long to pack up my stuff and follow Cameron out of the building.
