"Not possible." Cameron says firmly and I know he is not going to budge on the issue, Marcus looks taken aback by Cameron's reply and he glances at Chris who averts his eyes down to his hands. I want to know what's going on here so much but it's not something I can figure out, at least not right now. "If you want to make this deal happen, I obtain complete ownership of the app. Neither of you will have any rights or will be part of any decision making."

It seems a little harsh considering they built the app themselves but I'm sure Cameron has his reasons for wanting it to be that way. Maybe he's had to deal with drama in the past when it comes to taking apps in different directions. I do want to know his reasoning behind his decision but I'll wait until we're alone to ask him.

"Cameron it doesn't-" Chris starts to speak but he's cut off by Cameron and I stare at them with fascination.

"It does have to be this way. Sign the contract or don't, you've had more than enough time to read through it and consult your lawyers. I know Reynolds Tech is trying to acquire the application as well, I'm sure he'd allow you guys to stay on board but that's not my style." Cameron interjects firmly and I bite my lip as I study them. Marcus seems surprised, as if he was expecting something else while Chris seems tense and almost guilty. I feel proud that I'm able to read their body languages, surprisingly enough some of the coursework I'm taking covers body language during contract negotiations. A minor in Psychology might not be a bad idea because reading what people don't want to say is just as important as listening to what they do actually say.

My gaze flickers to Cameron and he still looks relaxed even though his tone of voice is firm. I know he's probably learned how to project complete relaxation even though he's tense, he didn't become a multi-billionaire without being excellent at what he does. Marcus and Chris are no match for my boyfriend.

"Do we have a deal or do you need more time?" Cameron prods them after they're silent for a few minutes.

They glance at each other and then nod, I feel like cheering for Cameron because they honestly did not stand a chance against him.

It's kind of amazing having such a powerful man as my boyfriend.

They sign the papers quickly after that and when I glance at Aaron, he's looking at Cameron with thinly veiled adoration in his eyes. I frown because Aaron's feelings for Cameron are way more than just a crush, it's obvious.

They shake hands after signing the papers and one of the accountants comes in to hand them a check. They hold it together and look down at it with wide eyes, they've probably never held something that's worth that much money before. I know I certainly haven't.

The meeting is over and Cameron still has some things to go over with his team regarding the transition for the app from the creator's hands to his. I stand and head to the bathroom, our meeting with the board from Colombia is soon and I'm getting more nervous.

"I thought you said you had an in with Dallas," a quiet voice states and I recognize it as Marcus' voice. I guess that's why he spent most of the meeting surprised, he thought things were going to go differently.

"Dude, I did. When I broke up with him all of those years ago, he still had feelings for me. I thought... I thought our history together would make him soften up during contract negotiations but honestly, that's not the same man I dated in college. He's harder... he used to be this... freaking like cuddly bear but obviously time has changed him." Chris replies and I can hear one of them flush a toilet. It momentarily drowns out their conversation but I'm so nosy because I want to hear everything they're saying.

"Bro, it was like he didn't even know you. But whatever, the deal he offered was way better than Carter's fucking low ball offer. We're millionaires, dude!" Marcus exclaims and I can hear them do some kind of handshake. I pretend to be entering the bathroom just as they're exiting. When Chris sees me, he pauses and motions to Marcus that he'll be right out.
