"What the hell?" He yelled.
I quickly fell on one knee as he tried to punch me, and I swung my other leg hitting the back of his knees, making him fall back. I got on mount, pinning his arms down. "Why do you have my phone?" Taking it out of his pocket.
"Well, aren't you strong?" He said, struggling against my grip. I was always told for my size I was as strong as a body builder in their prime.
I looked at the screen, finding a message from Levi.
"Were you working with them?" I asked, tightening my grip.
He just stared at me.
"Did you work with them? Were you in the gym with the vampire? Tell me or I will rip your arms off."
"Yes."
"Why?"
"I already told you, eternal life."
"How many are there?"
"I don't know."
"Estimate!"
"Twenty."
"You're lying."
"No, I-" I tightened my grip on his wrists. "Thirty- five exactly."
"You an idiot."
"You won't think that when you and the rest of them are dead. Most of the Guards are already dead. They're gonna slaughter you."
"No, they're not. You can't even fight against me. You're a spineless rat. They'll never turn you."
He laughed. "Don't you thi-"
I reached far back, and punched him as hard as I could, knocking him out.
I got up reading the message.
Levi: Where are you?
I replied. Don't worry. I'll be there soon. As I walked to the Headmistresses Office.
I'd been in here plenty of times. Once after my mother had died, Headmistress Luis wasn't here at that time, another when I got in a fight with Levi, and the last time was when she showed me where the weapons were.
It wasn't a favoritism thing, not necessarily. When you're in the top of your class during Sophomore year and so on, you're given secrets, advantages, and trust's other students don't haven't. This is the first one you're shown.
I went to the closet, and climbed up opening the ceiling. Pushing a tile through, there they were.
Fire spells, stakes, an aid kit, and a bow filled with arrows. I took as much as I could hold, taking some things in a back pack.
I looked out the window, and it looked like everything was burning. My whole world was burning, but I could see three buses fleeing out of the campus.
I looked down at my leg, bathed in red. I took a pair of her scissors, cutting it off. I wrapped my leg quickly, yet sloppy.
I closed my eyes taking a deep breath.
I ran out, running through the halls, and out the door into the fire.
The Guards were fighting, the cold was sharp, and piercing into my skin.
I hid behind trees, running to the dorm. The male and female dorm was connected, in the same building but separated by a connecting room. That was where they were now.
The Hunters were losing, dying. I took my bow, killing some vampires, shooting them through the head, giving them some time.
It was way more than thirty-five, that bastard.
I got to the doors, knowing they were locked. I broke a window, using a rock, and kicking the glass out of the way. I slipped through, and looked around. It was quiet, they weren't here. I took in a breath.
Searching for the door, I could hear the screams outside the courtyard.
My heart was beating quickly, my senses on high alert, and I quickly found the door. I opened it slowly, and swiftly there was a blade at my throat.
